"What happened, man?" His friend walked into his office with a wicked smile on his face.
There was no doubt in his mind that his friend was enjoying every minute of his predicament.
But not him.
He grabbed the nearest object on his desk and hurled it at his friend. He was fast, but his friend was quick, too, missing his friend's head by a centimeter.
"Whoah! No need to be violent." Doug went straight to his desk and sat on the edge while playing with a ball, juggling them on his hands.
Of course, he remembered that colorful ball.
Damn!
It was fucking humiliating.
If Doug had not been his best friend, he would have strangled his neck until he could not breathe for making fun of him.
"No need to rub it in." Xavier irritatedly responded as he relaxed back in his chair, shoving the memory aside.
But at least his friend came to his rescue.
"What do you need, Doug?"
