Belle froze upon hearing his request, a kiss in exchange for someone's life was easy but she never wanted to kiss Rubin again, she had being forced and she never enjoyed it , she new Rubin would want to have more than just a kiss, and it will always start with a kiss but lead to something else and worst of it all she was trapped in Rubin's quarters.
What do you say, a kiss or will the guards blood be spilled because of you, Rubin said as he looked at her.
Though the guard was rough with the way he had handled her, but she did not wish for him to die because of her .She gripped the blanket that covered her as she taught. How am I sure you wouldn't kill him either way, belle asked.
Just the Rubin smiled , O my dear belle I am flattered that you know me so well. You see from the moment he placed his hands on you, he had already signed a death sentence, and nothing can save him.
Rubin smiled as he had been caught red handed, he picked up belle's hand to kiss it, ignoring the way she tried to pull away from him as to evade the kiss, it was his fault for scaring her through out the years, sometimes he just couldn't help him self.
Belle felt guilty and sorry for the guard but there was nothing she could do as his after had already being set by Rubin, all because she had called out to Maya and Rubin got jealous.
Belle made a decision that she will protect her self no matter what, I do not want to kiss you and I will not she said as she spoke softly and looking away from Rubin.
So you will let the poor soul die without trying to save him, I am starting to grow tired of the way you treat me even when I take such good care of you, Rubin said in an angry tone as he roughly grabbed her neck, he pushed belle back against the bed, he didn't like that she rejected him, how dare you, if I give you the chance to kiss me , you are not to refuse.

Belle touched his hands around her neck in other to loosen his grip, she could barely breathe, and she was sure that his hands around her neck had already left a mark, she had been through this before, Rubin would get upset to the point he injured her and then cry to her as he apologized and begged for her forgiveness.
Belle closed her eyes as a tear drop streamed down her cheek, just then a knock on the door came through which was her saving grace.
