Haruo takes a stance at the butler, He looked more serious than ever. The butler took the cane and tapped it in the ground, making the dimension shift. This alerted Haruo as the ground around him shook.
"Let me introduce myself properly this time. I am Ford Kenric, The main butler of the royal family, pleasure of meeting you sir" Kenric said while bowing.
Haruo just took notice of his appearance for some reason he didn't notice it earlier. Confusion and anxiousness struck him like a bullet to the liver. He had gray hair and black eyes, his hair was slick backed and he had a clean beard wrapping around his chin.
His physique was buff but not too buff. He had a scar to his neck and had the same tattoo as him in that spot, seeming like he is also in a contract. Haruo felt his glare trying not look away.
"You are Chiharu's disciple am i right? If so then you must've realized that you can't seem to remember his face. and all the pictures that had his face are gone or were ripped off from the rest of the picture." Kenric said, questioning Haruo
Now that i think about it, how come all my memories that involved master are foggy and disoriented? Haruo thought, his question impacting him as he tries to figure it out.
His expression becoming more and more anxious as he thought it through before snapping out of it and remembered his wasting time. He took out his monarch - 13 and rushed towards him.
Kenric's eyes turned into a glowing golden hue as Haruo rushed toward him, just when he got close he suddenly got farther from him as if he was heading the wrong direction.
"Did you forget that this was my dimension?" Kenric said, his tone cold.
Shit i forgot, I need that cane as soon as possible. i still have a lot of time but looking at the situation right now i don't think i can get close to him as long as he has control over this dimension. Haruo thought looking at the butler with determination.
Haruo sprinted at him again trying his best to get close but all seemed futile for the distance kept getting larger and larger each step he took. Kenric tapped his cane again on the floor causing an echo.
"Let's say you do get close, then what do you do? I haven't even took a single step away from this spot ever since you entered." Kenric said.
His right, even if i do get close he's probably still much faster than me. Just what do i do!? Haruo thought, clenching his fist his eyes began to glow again signaling he was about to use his ability again.
"That's it... Your body may be weak that doesn't mean your perseverance is" Kenric muttered, he grinned at the sight of Haruo's growth.
He pointed his gun at Kenric squeezing the handle as much as he can. snowflakes started to swirl around the gun point as energy quickly gathered at its front before a large energy burst from the monarch - 13.
The bullet pierced through the air going faster than light itself, Despite how fast it was, It felt like it wasn't getting closer to Kenric. Suddenly the bullet went back towards Haruo.
Haruo's eyes widened as the bullet went straight at him instead of Kenric, He managed to block it with his blade but the force still damaged him. His internal organs were shaking relentlessly.
Haruo dropped down to his knees and his hand on the ground for support as his whole body vibrating from the shock, He coughed out a ton of blood, his nose bleeding, his eyes red as he slowly steadied himself.
"I was monitoring participant after participant until I saw you, During that time it was my first time seeing you but I instantly recognized that coat the moment I set my eyes on it. After all, I was the one who made it for him." Kenric said looking at the weakened Haruo.
What!? Haruo thought, his eyes widened as he heard that from Kenric. He stood up quickly before wiping the blood dripping from his nose. He promptly used his ability to slow down the vibration from his organs to a fraction of a second.
"Show me that you are worthy to bear his name." Kenric said, his eyes showing less humane.
"Oscar, has master ever inputted data of the people he met to you before?" Haruo asked.
"Yes sire! he has inputted data on people he met before to me." Oscar said.
"Give me all the details of 'Ford Kenric', his abilities, fighting styles, history, and background." Haruo ordered before a blue screen popped to him giving him all the available information of Ford Kenric.

IMMEASURABLE!?? I thought he was just some butler!? Can I even win?? Haruo thought to himself gritting his teeth shocked by his ability rank. He looked back at Kenric with his guard up.
Haruo rushed toward him again, gripping both his weapons tightly as he sprinted through the seemingly endless hall. his focus narrowing on the figure ahead.
I don't know what is it, but something has changed. during this past day, I've been getting stronger So fast. what's causing me to grow this fast? Haruo thought, his eyes turned dull as he focused his attention to Kenric.
As breathes the air around him grew more colder, distortion started to form around him and a cold trail followed him as he ran just as fast as the bullet he shot earlier.
He's just like his master! Kenric thought to himself, he smiled at the sight as he looked at Haruo with fascination. Kenric tapped the ground twice with the cane.
The walls around started to divide into multiple sections, scattering and rotating everywhere, Haruo got to witness the outside of the dimension a endless expanse of stars, in a purple and cyan hue.
Haruo didn't mind as he saw the alternating dimension before his eyes, multiple parts of the castle were visible, many participants doing test but it seems they are oblivious to the scenery as the space fractured.
Strange, can they not see the fractured space? it seems like the entire castle is his domain he makes the rules in this dimension. But who says i need to follow them? Haruo thought, before he saw the edge and began to jump to the next plat form available.
Multiple parts of the castle were generating in thin air as he approached Kenric. These parts were flying towards him, changing shapes when they got close to Haruo, trying to confuse him.
Haruo carefully dodge each of them in swift motion, trying to lose them all. His speed accelerated and he kept running, A large part of the castle was sent towards him which engulfed him.
Suddenly, a massive ice spike erupted, tearing through the building. Haruo swiftly sliced it into tiny fragments, scattering them as he pressed on, unfazed by the threat.
He glanced at Kenric noticing a large amount of these building behind him, half of them were alternating into different shapes and launched at him like projectiles.
"Such a beautiful sight." Haruo muttered as he reached out toward Kenric, Fascination driving him forward despite the chaos surrounding them. His other half of skin mask finally tore off revealing his perfect face his expression in awe as he took in the scenery.
His dull eyes regained its highlights and sparkled, relaxing all his muscles as the alternating launched toward him. the shadow overlapping him before his eyes turned dull again and froze the entire dimension.
Haruo stopped running, and started to walk instead. he unsheathed his sword, and touched the alternating projectile toward him which crumbled into flakes of snow.
Haruo's steps echoed the dimension, everything was inactive except Kenric and him just watched him moved toward him. crumbling each projectile that was launched toward him.
Kenric stood still, unwavering in his spot. It wasn't long before Haruo reached him, his hand slowly touching the cane. In an instant, everything shattered, the chaotic scene dissolving back into the simple hallway they had been in all along.
"You have proven it to me, you are worthy to bear his name. When i first met him he was just like you, struggling to survive despite having such a fragile body" Kenric said his tone gentle as an innocent smile appeared to his face.
Haruo paused before snapping back to reality. He held his head, discomfort clear as his breathing became uneven. Suddenly, he coughed up blood, with it dripping from his nose, mouth, eyes, and ears, the strain overwhelming him.
Shit, all the injuries are finally getting to me! I didn't even realize what was happening earlier, my whole perspective changed. That power from before just made my wounds worse. Haruo thought before collapsing to his knees, the weight of his injuries catching up to him.
"I guess that power is still too much, Let me help you. I cant let a participant die before the next test." Kenric said, before picking him up.
"picking me up wont heal my injuries-" he said before pausing into a confused expression
"The hell??" He muttered, searching his body for his injuries before redirecting his attention back to the Kenric.
"How'd you that??" Haruo asked, looking at him.
"I altered this dimension to make it so your body never had injuries during this fight or before that." Kenric explained with an calm tone.
"You can just do that?" Haruo still visibly confused despite him already saying that he changed the dimension, like just accept it bro.
"Yeah, of course I can. Well, only in this castle. How my ability works is complicated." Kenric said.
"It would be great if you told me how it worked, its fine anyway we still have time anyways" Haruo replied before pressing his ring to look at the time.

"I can create a dimension similar to the original one and make multiple at the same time. And I can control the rules of that dimension however I want. For example, if I want to create a new color, I can do that." Kenric said a white board randomly appearing out of thin air.
"This entire castle is a dimension I created, so yeah." Kenric explained, his tone almost casual as he revealed the extent of his power. Just as he finished speaking, the white board vanished, as if it had never been there at all.
"Wait so you created a dimension inside a dimension?? Its stackable!?" Haruo exclaimed before removing the glasses from his face which randomly just appeared there.
"Yeah i can, i was also shocked the first time but that was a long time ago back in youthful years, but I'm old now nothing shocks me anymore" Kenric said before putting his hand his back.
"So you weren't going all out??" Said squinting his eyes into a stressed out annoyed face.
"If i did that you would've died." Kenric said cracking his back bone.
"Anyways i think its time for you to enter the second half, and don't worry you can pick your teammates." Kenric said patting his back, before opening the door for him.
"Lets talk again soon, maybe i can tell stories of what Chiharu did when he was a child like when he stubbed his toe on a table and cried so loud it almost tore down the royal castle." Kenric said laughing it off.
Seriously, cried so loud it almost broke down hard cement which is probably enhanced with runes? has he gone senile? Haruo thought while looking at Kenric laughing with worry kind off hard to believe.
"Alright, see you Gramps." he said, stepping forward toward the room, or so he thought. The door shut behind him with a soft click, and when he turned to look, both the door and the entire castle had vanished without a trace.
"I'm back here? and I'm the first one to finish. i guess i have to wait then." He muttered sitting down on the ground his stomach growling, in the middle of the field he started in.
