Seria looked thoughtful as she stared at the spot where Ray had stood a moment. His words had worked like magic changing the solemn and gloomy atmosphere into a bright and warm one.
Turning around she looked at Cassandra and said.
"He really had become different. It's like his whole personality has changed. Did something happened?."
Cassandra sighed softly, her eyes also lingering on the spot where Ray had disappeared. Her voice carried a tinge of melancholy as she replied, "Yes, he has changed. Just a month ago, he wouldn't have stayed with us like this, let alone lifted our spirits in such a way. Something happened... something that shook him."
Seria tilted her head, her brows furrowed in concern. "It's more than just growing up, isn't it? There's a heaviness in his demeanor. Like he's carrying a weight that none of us can see."
