Chapter 9 - EmperorBoss (Part 1)

After mixing in the forum for a week, Im Giseok started answering questions.

For some reason, even though screenwriting was a popular field, there were no books like <>, <>, or <>.

After only a few useful posts, Im Giseok was regarded as a senior in the screenwriting industry, and it wasn't long before someone contacted him privately.

[ Boss, please help. If you have time, could you organize this for me? It's urgent. Can you raise the market price by another 20%? ]

...

Even though the person he was messaging was a new account and hadn't been on the forum for long, in Lee Hayoon's eyes, they were like a master of the screenwriting industry who are offering fresh perspectives with just a few comments.

After sending the message, Lee Hayoon noticed the small blob beside the person's profile picture hadn't lit up, which made him worry that the person might not be interested in taking on his small project.

Famous screenwriters' time was very valuable.

Although the forum was full of peers who occasionally helped each other out, Lee Hayoon wasn't sure if this person would be willing to help.

He was out of options and had come to the screenwriting forum hoping for a bit of luck.

Lee Hayoon was a producer who had transitioned from being a screenwriter.

In his screenwriting career, he hadn't achieved much success.

Realizing he didn't have a natural talent, he used his existing resources to become a producer.

His first project barely broke even, which allowed him to stay in the film industry.

However, his second project had faced constant problems since its preparation stage.

The production team had hired a somewhat famous screenwriter as the lead writer, but the scripts they wrote didn't meet expectations.

In the end, the team had to pay a sum of money to let this big name go.

The remaining screenwriters were all novices, and their work was fragmented.

Lee Hayoon couldn't even imagine what the final TV show would turn out to be like.

He wanted to hire another screenwriter, but after waiting for half a month, no one was willing to take on the job.

Without a well-organized script, the actors couldn't start filming.

Despite having done all the necessary preparations and invested money, Lee Hayoon couldn't just cancel the project.

He stumbled upon the screenwriting forum, read a few posts, and found the most satisfying responses came from a screenwriter with the profile picture and nickname "EmperorBoss."

Lee Hayoon hadn't written a script in a long time, but he still knew good writing when he saw it.

He could tell that the answers from the person on the forum were valuable.

"Who could it be? Jo Jeongmin, Wang Bonri, Maeng Pyeonghwa..."

After thinking for a while, Lee Hayoon still couldn't figure out who the person was.

He started to think that this "EmperorBoss" might not be a well-known scriptwriter.
