Chapter 10 - EmperorBoss (Part 2)

Jo Jeongmin and Wang Bonri had so many projects that they were too busy, and most of their work had already been handed over to their apprentices.

They wouldn't have time to hang out on a forum.

"Maybe they're more of a theorist with little real-life experience," the director beside him said.

"EmperorBoss" still hadn't replied to him, which made Lee Hayoon think the same.

He felt a bit disappointed, "Where can you find an experienced scriptwriter these days?"

Lee Hayoon's project was in collaboration with ReelRise, so the scriptwriters who worked with TV stations wouldn't be interested in joining.

Even the last scriptwriter, who wasn't very good, was someone Lee Hayoon had pulled in using his connections.

Lee Hayoon was flipping through the scripts he already had.

He made up his mind that if he couldn't find anyone, he'd take over himself.

No matter what the final content turned out to be, he would take full responsibility.

He had only read two pages when his phone suddenly rang.

The small blob beside the "EmperorBoss" icon, which hadn't lit up since the previous night, flashed twice.

[ EmperorBoss: Send it over and let me take a look. ]

Lee Hayoon quickly sent over the first few pages of the script through a private message.

The scriptwriting forum required real names, so if you contacted someone through the forum, it could guarantee the privacy of the script.

Because of this, Lee Hayoon wasn't worried that "EmperorBoss" would leak the script.

"Can you take it?" he sent another message after a while.

There was no immediate reply from "EmperorBoss."

Lee Hayoon worried that the person might not be able to help, or that their work wouldn't meet his needs, making him feel a bit uneasy.

...

After getting up, Im Giseok first completed his daily task of tagging Kim Soseong.

He posted once every day, and now there were even people online asking Kim Soseong on his behalf.

He kept searching for job postings like the ones from BingeBox but found nothing.

In this world, TV stations held a firm position.

Websites like CineHaven TV and ReelRise were all invested in by TV stations, so they wouldn't go against them.

At first, he had dismissed BingeBox for only accepting short drama scripts.

However, among all the video sites, BingeBox seemed to be the most daring and willing to take risks.

With not much else to do, Im Giseok returned to the scriptwriting forum to pass the time.

Over the past two weeks, he had been replying to various posts.

Some of his replies got many likes, but some also sparked arguments.

Im Giseok replied to a few of those, and just when he was about to check for new posts, he noticed someone had sent him a private message.

Since he had nothing better to do, he thought he might as well help them organize their script.

Although the original owner's family wasn't wealthy, they had saved some money in the years after graduation, which allowed Im Giseok to live comfortably for a while.
