She continued playing on the grass and hunting for any other creatures she could find. She heard a sudden loud yelp, causing her to halt in her tracks. She looked around, trying to find the source of the sound. It sounded somewhat like that of a child's. "Ah!" it bellowed again. "Was a child in trouble somewhere?" She saw a large tree not too far off. Could it be...
Sahsa ran to the tree and looked up, completely horrified. A tiny little boy had climbed all the way to the top, but it seemed he had slipped and was hanging onto a branch for dear life. At that height, any normal adult might sustain bruises or may dislocate a limb or two if he or she were to fall. But a kid might end up in a far worse situation and could even lose their life if they landed wrong. She frantically looked for anyone who could help but everyone was so busy in the Palace and there was no one in sight. She had to take action now or else...she didn't even dare to think about the aftermath.
"Hang on kid, I'm going to help you get down safe!" She flung off her shoes and began to climb up the tree as fast as she could. Growing up in an orphanage, Sasha was used to the rough life. Climbing up a tree was a piece of cake for her. Her upper body strength was also good as she always worked out to keep her physique. "Damn this dress!" she thought aloud. The dress kept on getting in the way making the climb more difficult if only she had a pair of comfy cargo pants or jeans on."Tsk."
She had finally gotten close enough to reach the boy, but she had to be careful not to frighten him or else he might lose his grip. "Hey, kid are you alright, can I know your name?" she spoke in a soothing voice. The kid's bright brown eyes looked at her, they were shrouded with fright. "My name is Roe." he held the branch tighter as the wind began to pick up causing the tree to sway. "Okay, Roe my name is Sasha. Since we know each other's names we're friends now, so I'm gonna need you to listen to what I say and do exactly that. Then we'll both get down safe, alright?" Cajoling was the best tactic to use on a scared child. "Okay, Miss Sasha" tears began to flood his cheeks.
