Orion rolled his eyes at her. Of course it did. Such a large wound on her body would be extremely painful. "Everyone get back to work." he dispersed the large crowd with only a few words. They left in a frenzy of chatter. Only Yuza and Roe stayed behind. "Thank you, Miss Sasha." Roe ran over to give her a hug. With his height, he was hugging her legs only. Such a cutie, a pang of pain hit her heart when she recalled his fear-filled face. "What were you doing up there?" she crouched down to ask. "I was looking for bird eggs," he said with pride. Sasha couldn't hold back her laughter. Orion frowned. Her laughter was so loud and unrefined for a lady. Most ladies would giggle softly or laugh coyly around him. Hence, he had never met a woman who laughed without a care like her.
"You know that's dangerous, don't you go climbing up any more trees!" She gave him a pat on the head. "Miss Sasha!" Yuza walked up to her and knelt on the ground with her head hung low. "Thank you so much for saving my grandson. I wouldn't know what I would have done if I had lost him." she cried. Who would have thought that the boy she had just saved would be the grandson of Yuza, who had treated her so badly before. "Don't worry about it, I had to help since there was no one else around." Saying anything else would be just unnecessary at this point. Her response was not overbearing, and one wouldn't overthink it. She had explained to Yuza plain and short that it was just a normal thing anyone would have done, and if there was someone else like a guard around at that time she wouldn't have been the one up that tree.
"That's enough. Let's go get your wound treated." Orion escorted her away so she could get treatment...
..."Sit still!" Orion snapped at Sasha as she continued to fidget while he tried to clean up her wound. "But it hurts!" She flinched when he applied the herbs onto the wound on her wrist. When she was all bandaged up, he decided to let her have it. "What were you thinking climbing up that large tree?!" His expression was cold and frightening. "Uhm, if I had delayed by looking for someone else, he would have..." She trailed off, not wanting to complete the sentence. Orion also naturally couldn't chide her anymore. Undoubtedly, she had done a good deed by saving that child, and he was grateful.
"Yuza, how is Roe?" The maids gathered around Yuza to comfort her. She had a tough time when she lost her daughter in an attack. Her precious daughter had left her only son behind, and Yuza was determined to make sure he never got hurt. But today, she nearly let her daughter down. She wept bitterly and was unconsolable. "He's okay." her voice was hoarse and barely audible. "Thank goodness for that, then."
