Chapter 29 - Answers l

Sasha stood at the doors to a large room. Casting a perplexed glance at Arrare, who only gave her a cute smile, she furrowed her brows. "Miss Sasha, welcome to the Royal Gallery." Arrare announced as she pushed open the large doors. "Woah!" she could only exclaim. The wide expanse of the room was illuminated by beautiful sun rays from the large open windows. Captivated and mesmerised, she stepped in the avid display of splendour and beauty. The walls were lined with magnificent paintings of beautiful scenes of summer, winter, autumn, and spring. Beautiful and mythical creatures were also among them. Abstract paintings were displayed as well. There were also sculptures and carved figurines of people, animals, and different objects. It was almost like what one might find in a modern museum and art gallery back on Earth. "I noticed you kept on staring in wonder at some of the illustrations in the books, so I figured you might be a big fan of art." Arrare walked up to her feeling pleased as she had obviously made her Miss very happy.

"Thank you Arrare, it's lovely. She was profoundly grateful to Arrare for showing her this place. Back on Earth, she had a whole blog dedicated to art and frequently visited art galleries and museums for tours. She always loved the serenity and awe that came with a piece of art as well as emotions of empathy, fear, and uncertainty. She noticed a less illuminated hallway as she continued to move through the room. Drawn in, she made her way towards the hallway. It was quite long, broad, and dimly lit. It seemed to be lined with portraits along its walls. The first few were probably portraits of past rulers of the Eastern Empire. On the left side of the walls hung family portraits of past royals.

Gradually, she approached the end of the hallway that contained the portraits. The last one caught her eye immediately. It had a family of four. What made the portrait really catch her attention was the young boy. He had full dark hair and a face full of childhood innocence as well as mischief. Even though their facial expressions were blank, she could still tell clearly by the way his bright eyes shone. Most of the people in the portraits did have red eyes as well, but this boys eyes were a bit more distinct. Then she quickly made the connection. "Wait, could it be that this was Orion!"
