Chapter 9 - Strip

Minutes later she was practically being dragged by very annoyed looking maids to one of the rooms in the Palace. "Wow!" she exclaimed upon entering the grandly furnished room. The furniture had a vintage look and the huge queen sized bed in the centre gave the room a fairytale aura. She had been to many fancy hotels but this...

"Strip!" one burly looking maid ordered. She subconsciously crossed her arms over her body. "Excuse me?"

"You need a bath you stink." the maid made no effort to mask her displeasure. As the head maid of the East Wing being ordered to serve a 'wench' like like Lorianne made her sick to the stomach. What was the Emperor thinking? "What!" Just show me to the bathroom I'll bathe myself." she frowned seeing the maids walk up to her with towels, oils and perfumes. "Listen here, the Emperor requests we make you presentable in 2 hours time. If you're just going to whine throughout the whole process you better place your complaints before him instead." Her patience snapped. Fearing that both she and the maids might get into trouble she relented.

..."You're expecting me to wear this?" she stared in disgust at the pink frilly gown in the hands of one of the maids. "These are clothes from your previous quarters, they're yours Miss." the youngest maid who looked no more than 18 looked at her with a confused expression. Oh, this must be what the actual Lorianne used to wear.

Lorianne, who was this was this woman and why did everyone think she was her? "Where exactly are 'my' previous quarters located?"...

..." No...No...definitely not!" Sasha searched through the closets of the room the young maid led her to. Apparently it was the quarters of the Empress and Lorianne had insisted on occupying the quarters. "Oh,this is nice!" she finally picked one that was just right. All the others clothes were either too grand, ugly or too revealing most of them were also deathly out of style.
