Argus continued hunting until his adventurer card vibrated.
[Hunt Wild Chickens(G) 100/100] Completed
"One Quest, Check."
Argus continued to hunt since this was not only his purpose but also a way to level up. He still had two other missions to complete.

The free stats that awakeners receive per level up vary. The lower the rank of their class, the fewer they receive, as every person has different potential. For the Beginner Realm, common and elite awakeners receive 5 to 6 free stats per level, while special and unique classes receive 8 to 10 free stats per level up.
Every time they break into a major realm, the stats they receive, including Mana, vary depending on their potential and how solid their foundation is before reaching the next realm.
Argus did not assign his free stats since his stats were enough for the time being. Argus's spear wielding also began to improve. Although hunting wild chickens looked easier, a normal awakener, especially a close-combat awakener, would be in a pinch since wild chickens are speed-type monsters.
Argus's weapon, a spear, has a significant advantage in hunting them. Aside from the distance, Argus's speed and damage are enough to kill a chicken as long as he hits it.
Argus knew this, so he chose this quest from the Quest Board at the Adventurer Guild. The same could be said for the other two quests. Argus hunted 200 chickens over 3 hours. The reason for that was that the chickens were scattered throughout the forest. It was already 11:00 A.M., so he planned to rest and eat his lunch.
There is nothing valuable about the chickens aside from their meat, so Argus did not collect anything and just started killing. The Adventurer Card records the kill count of any awakener, so they do not have to memorize how many monsters they have killed. Suddenly, Argus received a notification from his status window.

"Two weapon specializations, huh? I don't really plan to use a spear. However, for pole weapon specialization, that's okay since I plan to use a scythe, which belongs to this category."
Argus rejected the spear specialization and accepted the pole specialization.

"I forgot, there are special monsters that have formed their cores since they are born." (Argus)
Normally, every being in the universe can only form their core at the Mana Core Forming Stage. The condition is to reach level 15; you cannot level up if you do not form your own core. However, there are exceptions to this—special beings with a special constitution that have already formed their cores upon birth, like the slime.
This does not mean that they are strong, though. Argus then fired another bullet again, this time targeting the core of the slime.

'My stamina has already run out.' (Argus)
Since he was running, the monsters could easily detect his presence, so they tried to flee. Argus noticed this, but he had no choice but to chase these monsters. He attempted to ambush them and was successful; however, the time it took to wait was longer than when he caught up with the monsters.

Argus planned to rest since leveling up did not mean he would be back to his peak condition.
Rustle... Rustle...
Argus looked in the direction where he heard something moving. Strangely enough, he did not feel any danger from that direction. A horned rabbit popped its head out from a bush. Argus did not immediately kill the rabbit and just observed. He could easily kill the rabbit since it was weaker than him.

The horned rabbit also did not attack Argus immediately. Both of them just stared at each other. The rabbit lost its patience and tried to leap and attack him. Argus did not immediately attack; he waited until it reached his attack range.

Argus hunted until dusk. He continued hunting even though his quests were already completed and he leveled up twice. He also saw other awakeners of his age hunting the same monsters as him. They tried to invite him to a party, but he declined or ignored them.
A single party can form up to 6 members. There are, of course, advantages and disadvantages to being in a party. Argus did not plan to join a party for now, and he didn't know when he would. He also did not easily trust other people.
There are different types of groups in Vesmir, starting from the smallest to the biggest: Party, Team, Phalanx, Brigade, Legion, and Army.
A party is composed of 6 members.
Next to a party is a team, which is composed of 10-15 members or 2 parties.
A phalanx is composed of 8 to 10 teams.
A brigade is composed of 4 phalanxes.
A legion is composed of 10 phalanxes.
Armies are composed of 10 legions.
The four big families of the human race may have a minimum of two to three armies of awakeners. This does not include the hidden ones. And that's only for the heads of the families; it does not include the armies of their subsidiary families.
Fortunately, Argus did not get into a fight while ignoring and declining their invites. When dusk came, Argus finished resting and decided to return to submit his quests.
Looking at the slowly darkening forest, it seemed like it was still day, but Argus still decided to return. He also wanted to experience hunting at night; however, now was not the time. He had no defensive equipment and did not prepare for it.
'And it's only my first day; there are many chances in the future.' (Argus)
He's not rich like Rex, so he needs to think about how to spend his hard-earned money wisely. Now that he's awakened, as long as he does not die, money will come to him easily. Of course, the prerequisite is that he needs to become strong to earn money.
Argus was thinking about his friend Rex. If he asked him to lend him money or to give him weapons and armor, Rex would probably lend him some money without question. It's not that he did not want to borrow money, but it was not needed at the moment.
Argus saw the lights in the tall walls of the city. He stopped for a moment, reflecting on what had happened today, which he could certainly call an interesting day. Unlike in school, where you only need to sit and listen to what the teacher is saying, what happened today made his blood boil.
'The thrill of fighting, leveling up, and becoming strong is addicting,' he thought.
