Lucious's pov
"I..I wasn't avoiding you." She stuttered, her heart racing so fast and somehow it excited me.
"Really? When was the last time we spoke.... A week ago." I snapped and she saw her expression hardened.
"You are not my father or my mate so stop asking questions that don't concern you." She gritted her teeth.
I was relinquishing her annoyed state but her words cut through my heart deeply.
Stumbling forward, I leaned down with my elbow pressed against the wall, and my brows knitted together.
My hands found her chin and I felt her flinch at my touch.
"Listen to me princess. Inside the four walls of this school I'm your guardian so I'll suggest you get used to it because we are going to be seeing each other for a very long time." I groaned, giving harsh breaths.
"Have I made myself clear?" I asked when she refused to respond.
She turned her face away from me as she crossed her arms over her chest.
