It was the Seventh Day of the week, a day following the Sixth Day's work of the Church on the hill. After a certain incident of the Fifth Day's afternoon, the entire town went back to what seemed like normal. There was no talk about what had happened on the Church; not talk about Brodin and Atticus's encounter, nor what Atticus had done.
Everything had gone back to normal, it had seemed. While not all of the Town was present at that incident, most knew of what had happened. But it's not like they were able to do anything about it, nor did they care enough to do so.
It was the Seventh Day, and the Bronze Bulls were supposed to make their regular check-in, and that's exactly what is happening.
