Chapter 5 - C:5

### Episode 5: "The One Where They All Find Out About Rosé"

The episode opens in Central Perk, where the gang is gathered as usual. Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey, Ross, and Rosé are sitting on their usual couch, drinking coffee and chatting about their plans for the weekend. Rosé, as always, looks effortlessly cool in a tailored jacket, sipping his espresso quietly while the others talk.

**Rachel:** (noticing Rosé's calmness) "You know, Rosé, you're always so... *zen*. You've got the world at your fingertips, and yet here you are, just drinking coffee with us like it's no big deal."

**Chandler:** (teasing) "Yeah, it's almost like being fabulously wealthy doesn't even faze you anymore."

**Rosé:** (with a small smile) "I like simple things. Coffee, friends..."

**Joey:** (confused) "But what about, you know, billionaire stuff? Don't you ever miss, like, fancy parties and yachts?"

Rosé shrugs, casually brushing off the question.

**Rosé:** "Not really. This is more fun."

Monica and Rachel exchange a subtle glance. It's becoming increasingly clear that Rosé's mysterious, low-key demeanor is fascinating to them. Over the past few weeks, they've found themselves wondering more and more about his life outside of their group.

**Monica:** (trying to sound casual) "You know, Rosé, we don't really know that much about you. I mean, sure, we know you're... incredibly rich and mysterious, but other than that..."

Rachel quickly jumps in, her tone curious but lighthearted.

**Rachel:** "Yeah! Like, where do you *really* come from? What's your story?"

Rosé looks at them with a knowing smile, but doesn't answer directly, keeping up his air of mystery.

**Rosé:** "My story? It's not that interesting."

**Phoebe:** (seriously) "Oh, I doubt that."

---

Later that evening, at Monica's apartment, the girls—Monica, Rachel, and Phoebe—are sitting around the kitchen table, eating dinner. But the conversation quickly shifts back to Rosé.

**Rachel:** (playfully) "Okay, seriously, how does someone like Rosé just... exist? He's like this enigma wrapped in a really expensive leather jacket."

**Monica:** "I know! He's rich, smart, totally cool under pressure, and somehow... still a mystery."

**Phoebe:** (matter-of-factly) "I think he's a spy."

Monica and Rachel laugh, but Phoebe remains serious.

**Phoebe:** "No, really. Think about it. He's calm in every situation, never talks about his past, and always knows more than he lets on."

Monica, half-amused but intrigued, looks thoughtful.

**Monica:** "Okay, maybe not a spy, but there *is* something about him. It's like he's too perfect, you know? Like he's hiding something."

**Rachel:** (smirking) "And let's be real—he's *gorgeous*. I mean, come on."

Monica freezes for a second, looking at Rachel, surprised by her openness.

**Monica:** "Wait, are you saying you have a *thing* for Rosé?"

Rachel pauses, almost flustered by her own words.

**Rachel:** "I'm not saying I have a *thing* for him, I'm just saying... he's, you know, *Rosé*."

Monica laughs, but there's an awkward undertone in her response. She clearly hadn't considered that Rachel might also be noticing Rosé in *that* way.

**Monica:** "Well, who wouldn't? He's... intriguing."

Phoebe watches them both, completely amused.

**Phoebe:** "Oh my God. You both like him."

**Rachel & Monica:** (in unison) "No, we don't!"

The room falls silent for a moment, and the girls exchange awkward looks. It's clear now that they both find Rosé fascinating—maybe even attractive—but neither of them wants to admit it out loud.

**Phoebe:** (grinning) "Oh, this is fun."

---

The next day, Ross, Chandler, and Joey are at Central Perk when Monica and Rachel walk in, casually joining the group. Rosé isn't there yet, so the girls take the opportunity to prod the guys for more information about him.

**Monica:** "So... Rosé. You guys have been hanging out with him for a while now. What do you know about him?"

**Chandler:** (sarcastically) "You mean, besides the fact that he's like a real-life Bruce Wayne? Not much. He doesn't exactly open up."

**Joey:** (nodding) "Yeah, he's more of the strong, silent type. Doesn't talk about his past or his money. Just shows up, looks cool, and then leaves."

**Ross:** "But you know, for someone who's so rich, he's really down to earth. It's kind of weird, actually."

Rachel, trying to sound nonchalant, presses for more.

**Rachel:** "But, like, don't you ever wonder what he does when he's not with us? I mean, he has to have some kind of life, right?"

**Ross:** "Oh, definitely. I've tried asking him about his business stuff, but he always changes the subject."

**Chandler:** "Probably because he doesn't want to bore us with stories about hedge funds and stock markets. I mean, could you imagine?"

Joey looks confused.

**Joey:** "Wait, what's a hedge fund?"

**Chandler:** (smirking) "Exactly."

The conversation drifts back to lighter topics, but Monica and Rachel can't shake their curiosity about Rosé. Their subtle fascination with him is growing, and neither one of them is willing to admit it outright, especially not to each other.

---

Later, Rosé arrives at Central Perk, looking as effortlessly cool as ever. He greets the group with his usual calm demeanor and takes a seat. Immediately, Monica and Rachel become hyper-aware of his presence, though they try to act natural.

**Rosé:** "What did I miss?"

**Chandler:** "Not much. We were just trying to figure out why someone like you hangs out with someone like *us*."

Rosé smirks, but his answer is sincere.

**Rosé:** "I like being here. It's... normal."

The gang laughs, but Monica and Rachel exchange another subtle glance. There's something about the way he said that—like he's genuinely grateful to be part of their group, despite all his wealth and mystery.

**Rachel:** (playfully) "Normal, huh? I don't know if *we* are normal, but sure, we'll take it."

---

That evening, back at Monica's apartment, the girls are relaxing in the living room. Phoebe is strumming her guitar, while Monica and Rachel are lounging on the couch, talking about their day. But, inevitably, the conversation circles back to Rosé.

**Monica:** (sighing) "Okay, I'll admit it. There's something about him. I can't quite put my finger on it."

**Rachel:** (nodding) "Yeah, it's like... he's just so cool all the time. I don't know. It's kind of... annoying. But also... not?"

**Phoebe:** (singing softly) "Monica and Rachel have a crush on Ro-sé..."

Monica and Rachel both sit up defensively, speaking at the same time.

**Monica:** "No, we don't!"

**Rachel:** "That's not true!"

Phoebe just grins, strumming her guitar lightly.

**Phoebe:** "Okay, okay. But you know, he *does* have that whole mysterious thing going on. It's like he's hiding a secret or something."

Monica and Rachel exchange another look. Maybe Phoebe is right. Maybe there's more to Rosé than they realize. And maybe—just maybe—there's more going on between the two of them than either one is willing to admit.

---

The episode ends with Rosé back at his penthouse, standing by his massive windows overlooking the city. He takes a sip of his drink and smirks slightly, as if he knows that his friends have been talking about him. There's a hint of amusement in his eyes—he enjoys being mysterious, and he's fully aware of the subtle crushes forming around him. But for now, he's content to keep his secrets, letting the intrigue grow just a little bit more.
