Chapter 13 - [13]Lavender?

-Francis POV-

"Uriel?" Of all people, I hadn't expected Uriel to visit me at night.

She had her hair down freely, wearing a short dark green sleeping gown that showed off her already-developing curves. Lante had gifted it to Uriel since she had a few extras and didn't mind sharing one with her.

"F-Francis, can I stay here with you just for tonight? I couldn't sleep," she stuttered, a slight blush creeping across her face.

Couldn't sleep?

Yeah, that's definitely not it, chief.

I pretended to go along with her "reason" for coming here. "Couldn't sleep? Sure, it's fine. You can stay here. Just let me get another sleeping ba—"

"NO! I-I mean... no. Can I sleep with you?"

...Oh shit.

Hearing her request, my face started heating up from embarrassment. I realized she didn't want to sleep here—she wanted to sleep with me.

I may be a bit more confident in this new life and body, but I'm still a weeb at heart.

I've never touched a woman in my life, even if things are different now.

Not a single girlfriend, not even a girl who's a friend.

Just me and my hand.

"S-sure." Damn it, Francis, don't stutter now!

She nodded with a red face as she slowly approached me. Kneeling down, she raised the blanket made from wolf fur and slipped in beside me.

Her head rested on the floor as her beautiful emerald eyes met mine.

It was a quiet moment where neither of us moved or made a sound. We just stared at each other.

"...Can you hug me?" she asked, her face turning an even deeper shade of red.

Oh, for God's sake, Uriel, are you trying to kill me?

Because I'm going to have a heart attack at this rate.

I was internally panicking as my fake confidence started to crumble.

Slowly, I moved my hand under the blanket and reached for her. My arms snaked around her slim waist, the soft fabric of her nightgown barely separating her skin from my touch.

Once my arms fully encircled her waist, I pulled her in close, her head resting against my chest.

I could hear it—her heartbeat.

It was racing, just like mine.

We stayed silent in each other's embrace, the rhythm of her breathing and the warmth of her body making me feel calm. The peaceful atmosphere began to relax me, unlike my earlier panic. Just as my eyes were about to close, I felt Uriel shifting in my arms.

She unburied her flushed face from my chest and spoke. "Kiss me."

Those two words made something inside me snap, and all reason flew out the window.

She closed her eyes, expecting a sweet, simple kiss. But at this point, whatever happens from now on is her fault.

I lowered my head and kissed her, slipping my tongue into her mouth.

"Mnh~" Her eyes widened in surprise as our tongues intertwined, but soon, she was lost in the pleasure, moaning as we tasted each other. Uriel, whose eyes were starting to glaze over, became rougher as we kissed, greedily wanting more of my mouth.

But I didn't let her take the lead. My arms, which had been wrapped around her, slid down her back.

"Ngh~"

With a gentle squeeze, I gripped her soft ass, making her blush even more.

"M-more~" Uriel was already lost in carnal pleasure, and I wasn't far behind. I began trailing kisses down her neck, feeling her body shudder with each one.

"Hm?" That's strange. Why does my knee feel wet?

Looking down, I realized Uriel was grinding against my knee.

No wonder it felt so wet. I'm surprised I didn't notice sooner—her panties must be completely soaked.

'Fufu~' A devilish idea crossed my mind.

Stopping everything I was doing, I looked at... Uriel?

"Uriel?" I called out to the girl, whose eyes were practically spinning, her face an intense shade of red.

Damn, she passed out.

Sigh~

This was probably for the best. We were moving too fast, and having sex this soon would've been the wrong move.

I began cleaning up as she... well, sprinkled all over the wolf fur blankets.

Afterward, we lay back down in the sleeping bag together, cuddling. It seemed like this whole thing brought Uriel out of her shell. Usually, she'd be shy and blushing, but now, she was hugging me with a smile on her sleeping face.

Soon, I fell asleep with Uriel using my arm as a pillow. I'm guessing our little session wore her out.

-Scene Change-

Lavender?

It seemed to be morning already, but there was some sort of refreshing smell in the air. Opening my eyes, I saw the sleeping blonde beauty using my arm as a pillow. Her golden locks drooped on the floor, along with the saliva dripping from the side of her small mouth.

Shiiiiii! I remember now.

Last night's events flashed through my mind. I still can't believe that happened.

I never thought I could have gone that far with a girl.

I was already prepared to become a wizard in my last life.

Wait…

I can hear people outside, lots of them. Besides Uriel's somehow natural lavender smell, I could also pick up the scent of food. It seems like they're eating breakfast. Usually, I'm the one who wakes up to make the food, but I guess they let me sleep in today.

Now, the real question is... How am I going to get Uriel out of here? I don't want to go through the trouble.

"Kyaaa, they slept together!"

"Oh my~, I knew it would happen."

"Noooo, I missed my chance!"

I could already hear what they would say if any of them saw Uriel coming out of this tent. As I was trying to come up with ideas, Uriel's droopy eyes opened.

She stared at me for a bit before smiling.

"Hehe, Francis," she snuggled up to me once again for a few seconds until... "Francis?" There it is.

It seems like she just woke up from her half-asleep state.

"G-good morning," she said, looking down, not daring to meet my eyes.

With a shit-eating grin, I pulled her closer than she already was and whispered in her ear.

"Good morning~" I blew air into her ear.

"Kyaaa!"

"Wait! Shit, no!" Her scream seemed to have caught the attention of the people outside.

"Francis, are you alri..." Angel opened the entrance to the tent as we both stared at each other. He seemed to notice Uriel, and his face contorted into an evil smile.

"No!" I shouted. I knew what this fucker would do.

"Francis and Uriel are sleeping together~!" he yelled.

"What!?" (Everyone)

Fucking Angel, I will have my vengeance!!!

-Scene Change-

After Angel's weird way of committing suicide.

Bro could have just asked me to kill him.

All the girls filled the tent, looking at us as if they had just witnessed the most entertaining thing in their entire lives.

Can't blame them, though, there isn't much to do here.

They kept teasing and asking Uriel questions to the point where she ran away into the forest in shame.

*Sigh.*

What a tiring morning.

*Bam!*

As I punched forward, Angel's body skidded across the ground like a ragdoll.

"Fuck, why do I have to do combat training? I'm a long-range fighter, remember?" Angel asked annoyingly as he wiped the blood running down his nose.

Yes, usually I would keep Angel out of training, but I saw this as the perfect excuse to beat him up.

After beating the crap out of him for a bit, my anger calmed down, and I let him go. He angrily got up from the floor, all banged up, and raised his middle finger at me.

Meh.

Well, now that that matter is settled...

"Here ya go, Uriel." I handed [Lambent Light] to her. She happily took it and went back to do physical training.

I like swords and all; in fact, they're my favorite weapon besides spears, but I've always loved martial arts.

Mostly because the only places I could learn from a decent teacher were in hand-to-hand martial arts. The places that taught swordsmanship or other weapons were more than likely scams.

After the training, I finally had time for myself. Usually, I take time to increase my weapon proficiency when training with others, but I train in special skills by myself afterward.

I put my hands together and flared up my cursed energy.

[Ten Shadows: Divine Dogs]

As I activated the skill, my shadow seemed to move and stretch upwards. It started to bubble, like boiling water.

Splash.

Two dogs jumped out of my shadow, and it returned to normal. The white and black dogs growled at me, showing their hostile intent. Unlucky for them, I was prepared.

"???" The two dogs noticed my purple arrow next to them.

In fact, there were multiple arrows with purple auras surrounding us.

Snapping my fingers, the energy within the arrows exploded, causing an immense pressure to come over both of them, rendering them helpless.

I wasn't going to summon dangerous shikigami without preparation, so I planted multiple arrows infused with void gravity powers.

The moment they came out of my shadow and got close to one of the arrows, they became trapped.

They kept struggling in an attempt to get up and attack me, but it was futile. I watched them for the next 30 minutes, along with Sariel.

The shikigami can also enter other shadows besides mine and escape, but I made sure to summon them in a place where no shadows were present except mine, and I was far away.

I'm not sure if my dog reading is good, but I'm pretty sure they were pissed.

As the dogs finally gave up, they bowed their heads.

A sort of connection suddenly appeared between us, signifying that they had surrendered.

I deactivated the arrows holding the dogs to the ground. They stood up and shook themselves off—their manes had gotten dirty from being pressed to the ground.

After I subdued the Divine Dogs, I continued capturing the shikigami of the Ten Shadows.

I only managed to get the Divine Dogs, Nue, Toad, Rabbit Escape, Round Deer, Piercing Ox, Great Serpent, Max Elephand Tiger Funeral.

The one that gave me the most trouble was Tiger Funeral.

When I attempted to subdue them with gravity like the others, they sank into the shadows. Unlike the other shikigami, their range was much larger, allowing them to hop from shadow to shadow more easily and escape.

It took a lot to fight them, especially since they were undetectable, but I managed thanks to their lack of the element of surprise.

Piercing Ox was also one of the shikigami I wasn't planning to summon, but its strength builds up by running in a straight line. So, I just didn't let it move at all with gravity. It was that easy for such a strong shikigami.

And Maharoga...well, let's not talk about him. I won't try to summon him yet to subdue, its too dangerous and I'm not confident in my strength.

I wouldn't want him adapting to my [Void], i'd be fucking dead if he did.
