Damien's POV.
Thoughts of Arielle clouded my mind. Even as I tried to work, it was impossible to stop my wolf from thinking about her— especially when she had refused to speak to me.
Arielle avoided me now, she never made up with me at the village in the north.
I thought everything would be fine again if I talked to her or when she showed up but she definitely hated me now.
Being the man that I was, I gave her space because she needed it. The people also needed her here, if I got into an argument with her it would affect the people around me.
With a heavy sigh, I tried to return to work on the large pile of papers in front of me but a knock on my door broke my concentration once again.
"Yes, come in…" I growled softly.
Raymond came through the doors with a brown envelope. He pulled out the documents and placed it on my table.
