Chapter 163 - Chapter 163: Bran Enters the Wall

"Why the hell are you hiding from me? I told you to hide." Euron, who had nowhere to vent his anger, happened to see the crew members who wanted to stay away from him.

He cursed, picked up the huge axe on the ground and chopped at the crew member.

The crew was scolded so much that they dared not move. When they saw Euron picking up the axe on the ground, they quickly ran towards the cabin. However, they were caught up by Euron after they took two steps and were hit on the neck with an axe.

Blood gushed out from the wound. The slashed crewman wanted to turn his head, but he only moved a little, and his neck tilted and he fell to the ground.

Euron's ferocity frightened the other crew members so much that they dared not move, and even his brother Victarion, who was not far away from him, did not dare to say a word.

Bang!

There was a dull crash, and the warship began to shake violently. Then there was another crash, and the big ship was completely overturned. Euron and the other crew members fell into the sea.

After falling into the water, Euron was about to swim to other boats when he saw Yara's fleet coming over in the distance, using long hooks to attack the crew members who fell into the water on their side.

He turned to look at his fleet again. Half of the warships had been overturned. Even if he no longer believed that the sea monster was deliberately targeting his fleet, he could not save the defeat.

"Ah!" He was so angry that he slapped the water surface with his hands. After just two slaps, his one eye rolled up and he lay straight on the water surface, foaming at the mouth and his whole body twitching.

"Euron!" Victarion, who also fell into the water, quickly noticed Euron's abnormality. Knowing that his epilepsy had recurred, he swam over quickly.

On the Yara warship, after the attack order was issued, Yara sat down on the ground, her face as pale as paper, and the continuous blowing of the conch almost cost her life.

The men helped the weak Yara to sit aside and had someone bring her a bowl of water. Only then did she feel a little better.

"Don't worry about me, you go and take command first." After a pause, Yara said to her deputy. Then she tried to stand up from the ground, holding the railing to observe the entire battle situation.

After she stopped blowing the conch, the waves gradually subsided. Euron's frightened men had just relaxed a little when they were faced with a crazy attack from the Yara fleet.

In addition to them, sea snakes were also working hard to harass the warships that had not been overturned, making it impossible for Euron's men to deal with the Yara fleet with peace of mind.

The situation on the battlefield was one-sided.

Yara's men guessed that she was blowing the tidal conch, and the people on Euron's ship also guessed the cause of the huge waves they encountered.

In addition, Yara had the help of sea snakes, and they heard the news that Euron was ill and his life or death was unknown. When Yara soldiers attacked, most of them chose to surrender, and the few who resisted to the end were killed directly.

The naval battle was completely over after more than an hour. Yara's face looked much better and she ordered people to count the losses and report the results.

This time Euron brought 120 ships and 12,000 men, but only a dozen ships escaped after this battle. Euron suffered an epileptic seizure and was rescued by his brother Victarion, who also escaped with those dozen ships.

More than 6,000 of Euron's men were captured, and the rest either died, disappeared or escaped.

Relatively speaking, Yara only lost more than 500 people.

Yara was happy and grateful for the great victory, if it weren't for Daenerys' reminder and the help of the tidal conch and sea snake.

Euron's sudden attack would probably have the opposite result to what it has now.

After seeing Euron's flag, Yara decisively used the tidal conch. She knew that she was no match for her uncle Euron at sea.

Even his wily father Balon fell into his hands. If he could defeat him, he would not have chosen to secretly escape with fifty ships from the Iron Islands.

So Yara immediately used the tidal conch to weaken Euron's fleet first, and then let the sea snakes cooperate with the soldiers to attack, which almost wiped out Euron's entire army.

After counting the ships and the number of people, Yara's men took 3,000 men to escort 3,000 prisoners and extra warships back to Dragonstone. She took the others and the remaining prisoners to continue to recapture the Iron Islands.

...

At the Wall, Jon, who was handling affairs, suddenly received a report from his subordinates that several people had come from outside the Wall. The leader claimed to be Bran Stark and said he was looking for him.

When Jon heard it was Bran, he immediately followed the person who reported the incident to the Wall.

At the foot of the Great Wall, Bran and his group of eight people plus two wolves were looking up at the magnificent Wall.

"Bran! Is that you, Bran?"

Standing on the Wall, Jon vaguely saw Bran lying on the ground and shouted excitedly.

Jon heard that Bran and Rickon were missing, but he didn't expect him to appear outside the Wall.

Hearing Jon's shout, Bran waved at him.

"Hurry! Open the tunnel gate!" Jon said to the Night Watchman beside him. He couldn't wait to see his lively and cute younger brother.

Inside the Black Castle, Jon glanced at the strange-looking Child of the Forest beside Bran, then quickly walked up to Bran and hugged him in his arms.

On the day he left Winterfell for the Wall, looking at Bran lying motionless on the bed, Jon never thought that he would see him again.

Looking at his illegitimate brother who has always loved him and is now the commander of the Night's Watch, Bran felt a peace of mind he had never felt before.

Since escaping from Theon's hands in Winterfell, Bran has hardly slept a good night's sleep and has been living in fear.

Now that he has returned to the Great Wall and seen his brother whom he has not seen for several years, he can finally settle down temporarily.

If Drogon were here, he would be very surprised to see Bran's expression at this moment. Bran now is far from being as cold and ruthless as he seemed in the previous drama.

Jon kissed Bran on the forehead, then went back to little Rickon and picked him up.

Although he is closest to Arya and Bran among his brothers and sisters, he is also very happy to see little Rickon.

Putting Rickon down, Jon looked at the Children of the Forest and the others curiously.

"They are the Children of the Forest," Bran said to Jon.

Although Jon didn't like listening to old lady's stories as much as Bran when he was a child, he had also heard the rumors about the Children of the Forest. He didn't expect that they still exist.

"She is Meera Reed," Bran continued.

When Jon heard that this pretty girl was from the Reed family, he was very curious about how she got together with Bran.

The Reed family has always lived on an island floating in the swamp in the Neck. They are vassals of House Stark and also staunch supporters. They have been guarding the Neck for the North for three thousand years.

"Osha, if it weren't for her, Rickon and I might have died at the hands of Theon." Bran glanced at the wildling Osha and said to Jon.

Jon looked at Osha and nodded gratefully to her.

The big man Hodor naturally needed no introduction by Bran. Looking at Hodor pulling the plank, Jon really couldn't imagine how they dragged Bran, who had difficulty walking, from Winterfell to outside the Wall and then returned from outside.

"The Night King's army of the dead is about to arrive at the Wall. We don't have much time."

After introducing everyone to Jon, Bran immediately got to the point.
