Chapter 89 - Chapter 89: Show off

Looking at the performance of his younger brother Viserion, Drogon nodded slightly, feeling quite satisfied with the results of his training.

Drogon was relieved after observing all the large ships from high altitude and finding no giant crossbows that could threaten Viserion.

He took another look at the guard situation on the walls of Yunkai. With Viserion's help, Yunkai should be safe.

After completing the inspection, Drogon was about to leave for Astapor to see Rhaegal, when he suddenly saw Viserion in the distance not continuing to attack the ship, but flying straight towards him.

"He was alert enough. He finally discovered me." Drogon said in his heart and flew towards Viserion.

Viserion had just burned a catapult and roasted a few people. He was about to go to the next one when he looked up and saw a small black dot high in the sky in the distance out of the corner of his eye.

When he saw the familiar little black dot, he immediately felt a sense of familiarity and hurriedly abandoned the big ship and flew over to confirm.

Seeing that it was indeed the boss Drogon, Viserion shouted with some fear and at the same time as if to seek credit, and nodded his head towards the burning ship on the sea.

Drogon was quite satisfied with Viserion's performance. He hissed twice to express his approval. Then he remembered that there were some snacks in his backpack, so he grabbed a handful of candied dates and threw them at Viserion.

Seeing the candied dates, Viserion's eyes lit up. He opened his mouth wide to take them, chewed them a few times before swallowing them with satisfaction.

He didn't know where the eldest brother found so many delicious foods. He and Rhaegal often tasted things they had never eaten before from Drogon.

Originally they only ate beef, mutton or horse meat, but after tasting the nuts, candied dates or roast duck that Drogon gave them, their appetites became picky.

In the past, Jhiqui was only responsible for grilling meat for them, but now she has to get roast duck or other snacks from other places to satisfy the appetites of the two dragons. She didn't know how many times she had complained in her heart, not knowing that it was Drogon who had spoiled the two dragons' appetites.

After eating a few candied dates, Drogon asked Viserion to continue to assist in defending the city. He also wanted to go and see Rhaegal, the little dragon sister.

After saying goodbye to Viserion, he had just flown a short distance when he heard a miserable groan. Turning back, he saw Viserion flying high into the sky from a large ship with a spear stuck in his abdomen.

"This silly dragon, he shows off when he's excited!" Drogon cursed in his heart and could only fly towards Viserion again.

Ordinary spears could not hurt Viserion at all. He must have been flying too low to be hit by the crew.

Drogon flew to Viserion's side and saw the spear shaking violently and about to fall, and then he put his worries aside.

The spear was not inserted very deeply, just entering the flesh and getting stuck between the scales. If Viserion flew a few more times, he would probably fall off by himself.

Without rushing to pull out the spear, Drogon flew to Viserion's head and hit him hard on the head with his claws. "I'll let you show off! I'll let you show off!" Drogon cursed angrily in his heart.

Just now, Viserion was facing a spear. If it was a crossbow, he would have been pierced through by a crossbow long ago. A few crossbows would have killed him.

Having just been hit by a spear, instead of getting any comfort, he was also hit by a few slaps. Viserion hung his head in grievance, not daring to fight back.

The two dragons are still small, and the dragon flames they breathe out have limited power and a short range. Drogon requires them to only let the dragon flames barely burn the surface of the ship, otherwise they will fly too low and be easily attacked.

He even demonstrated it himself before sending them away, but he didn't expect that Viserion flew too low to show off in front of him and was hit by a spear, making all his previous training in vain. How could he not be angry?

After giving Viserion a few more claws, Drogon neighed at him, teaching him to save his own life first. If he took any more risks and got more holes on his body, he would teach him a lesson when he got back.

Probably understanding what Drogon meant, Viserion nodded repeatedly, and a trace of fear flashed in Drogon's eyes. The boss's punishment was very severe. Not only would they be hungry, but they would also have to undergo beating training. It was not considered a punishment unless they were beaten all over and had to recuperate for a few days.

Seeing that Drogon understood what he meant, he flew under him, grabbed the spear with his two little black claws and pulled it gently, bringing out a stream of blood.

Holding the spear in his claws, drogon looked at the tall and strong man on the large ship on the sea who was surrounded by many crew members. He held the spear in his claws, flew backwards twice, and flapped his wings violently. The spear flew out of his claws and instantly flew in front of the strong man, piercing through his chest, and his body was heavily trapped in the splint.

After the spear pierced through the sturdy man, it continued to force its way into the board and disappeared. A pool of water immediately appeared under the bleeding body of the sturdy man, mixed with blood and flowed all over the board.

"The boat is leaking!" A crew member witnessed the whole process of the strong man being nailed to the plywood. He finally reacted and shouted in horror when he saw the sea water spreading under the strong man.

The surrounding crew members stared blankly at the increasing amount of sea water on the deck, and couldn't help but look up at the sky. They were not mistaken just now, the spear was thrown by the little black dragon in the air, not only did it accurately hit their companion, but also pierced his body and shot through the hull.

They were cheering after seeing their companion shoot a big dragon with a spear, and then they saw a small dragon flying out from somewhere after the big dragon flew into the air with the spear.

They were just feeling strange when they saw drogon seemed to hit viserion on the head a few times. viserion not only did not dare to fight back but also lowered his head and dared not move.

They were so shocked that they could hardly believe what they saw. At this moment, the little black dragon suddenly pulled out the spear from the big dragon, shot their companion and pierced the big ship. They never thought that the little dragon could have such great strength.

Is that little dragon really more powerful than the big dragon? Was what I just saw not an illusion? Was the little dragon really teaching the big dragon a lesson?

"Quickly block the boat!" Someone shouted, waking up the other crew members who were staring blankly at the sky.

"Don't you know that I hate spears the most?" drogon rubbed his little black claws, looked at the strong man on the boat, and said fiercely in his heart.

The scene of Drogon piercing the strong man also shocked Viserion. He was grateful to Drogon for avenging him and at the same time admired the accuracy and strength of Drogon's spear throwing. He didn't know when he would be able to do it again.

The guards on the city wall also saw Drogon and Viserion together, especially Daario, who had been watching Viserion from the top of the city wall.

Although Viserion helped in defending the city this time, Daario did not feel relieved. He was not afraid of the Ghis people attacking the city, but he was worried that Viserion would be seriously hurt by him.

He knew very well how important the three dragons were to Queen Daenerys. It was no exaggeration to say that they were her children. Before leaving Meereen, he had told himself to protect Viserion, but how could he protect them? Viserion would not listen to him.

Viserion had been performing well since the siege began, burning several catapults and severely damaging the crew, but he was frightened by the spear he was hit with just now. If something went wrong with the dragon in his hands, how would he explain it to the queen?
