[Hanz]
"After such a magnificent battle, we can't stop here. The wheels of doom have turned, they decided to watch battle of two opposites. She can conquer the sky, and her flying abilities are immeasurable—Misa, the Were-eagle. And her opponent from the depths of the ocean, the man who controls water—Merfolk Nimax."
Hanz waved his hand, transforming the arena into a deeper expanse. With a second gesture, he summoned clouds, and rain began to fall.
"For the battle to be fair," Hanz announced, "Nimax will have a pool full of water and a Islands for Misa to stand on." He looked down at the arena with a grin on his face. "Let the duel begin!" The gong rang.
[Fight]
As the battle commenced, Misa soared down, illuminated by rays of sunlight. A magnificent figure emerged: a humanoid form, standing 2.30 meters tall, with the head of an eagle and arms that could transform into wings. Her body radiated a strange, glowing smoke, and her voice was high and melodic. To those who gazed upon her, she was an awe-inspiring sight, adorned in beautiful yellow and brown feathers, emanating both power and kindness—ready to defend her ideals and loved ones.
From the depths of the lake, Merfolk Nimax rose. Standing at 2.20 meters, he possessed light blue skin, a muscular physique, and a fish-like head. His voice, while frightening and commanding, belied a noble spirit. He had long forgotten the hardships of his life, driven by a desire to help others, willing to sacrifice himself for that cause. This determination is what led him to join the Doom Verse.
The two contenders met on one of the islands. "Let it be a fair fight, and may the strongest win," Misa said, extending her hand for a shake.
"Let's not hold back; let's show what we're made of," Nimax replied, shaking her hand before retreating back to the water.
With the gong's echo still ringing, the battle of two ideals began—a contest between air and water.
Misa flew high into the clouds, releasing a radiant beam of energy from her mouth. Nimax, submerged underwater, propelled himself with incredible speed, narrowly evading the incandescent rays that began to boil the water around him.
After several rounds of attacks, Misa felt the need to cool down. Nimax seized the moment, throwing a trident towards her. But her reflexes were lightning-fast; she dodged and deflected the weapon with ease. In retaliation, Nimax summoned a water hand to catch the trident, preparing for another strike.
As Misa's cool-down ended, she unleashed another powerful ray, sending it towards Nimax. He managed to dodge, but the explosion of boiling water scorched his skin.
"Damn, I need a new strategy," Nimax thought, realizing he couldn't attack her effectively while she was in the sky. As Misa continued to fire rays at him, he struggled to avoid the attacks. Each shot brought him closer to a direct hit, and the boiling water compounded his injuries.
"Finally, my attacks are starting to reach him," Misa thought triumphantly. But her joy was short-lived. Suddenly, she felt a wave of weakness wash over her, and her feathers began to turn white and fall away.
"What the hell is happening!?" she gasped, struggling to maintain her balance. With her strength fading, she managed to land on the largest island. "It must be one of Nimax's powers…" The thought barely crossed her mind before she was struck by a powerful water punch.
Underwater, Nimax was launching relentless attacks at Misa. "Finally, I've managed to do some damage!" he thought, while Misa weakened and unable to fly, endured his strikes.
Misa, despite her injuries, gathered enough energy to unleash a massive ray of radiation. Though it nearly hit Nimax, her fading vision caused the attack to land just short. However, the residual boiling water still inflicted damage upon him.
Nimax's power was waning as well; controlling both water and age was a taxing endeavor. He realized he had to make a decisive move.
Misa, regaining her strength, spread her wings and ascended into the sky once more. "If this continues, I might lose. I need quickly come up with a plan."
As she flew above the islands, waiting for her powers to recharge, Nimax was deep in thought. "Even if I age her, her power doesn't seem to diminish. In fact, it feels like the radiation is intensifying!"
Nimax submerged deeper to escape her rays. "It's a race against time—will the radiation kill me first, or will Misa tire out?" He glanced at his scorched skin, realizing the radiation was slowly consuming him.
"I don't have much time left," he thought. "I need to make a move; otherwise, Misa will triumph." With renewed determination, he tapped into his aging power once again.
Misa felt the familiar wave of weakness wash over her. "Damn, his power is recharged. This is the most annoying ability!" She landed once more on the island, preparing for battle.
"Come on! You won't be able to defeat me!" Misa shouted, focusing all her energy.
But in the heat of the moment, Nimax drilled into the island, summoning a water hand that caught Misa's leg. Reacting quickly, she unleashed a ray to destroy the water grasp with her leg, but another punch landed squarely on her face, knocking her off balance and into the water—right into Nimax's domain.
"Finally! Now I have full control!" Nimax thought, launching his trident. However, weakened from battle, his throw only scratched Misa.
Nimax realized he needed to close the distance. "From a distance, I can't hit her accurately," he thought, gripping the trident tightly. With a surge of water, he propelled himself towards her, launching a flurry of strikes.
Misa was in a dire situation. "I need to do something!" One of Nimaxs strikes severed her right arm at the shoulder. With a scream of pain, she burned the exposed flesh to staunch the bleeding. "Things are getting more dangerous."
As Nimax paused to catch his breath, he felt a surge of confidence. "This battle is almost over!" he thought, relaxing for just a moment—his greatest mistake.
In that instant, a massive ray of radiation struck him. He barely managed to use water to shield himself, losing both hands in the process. Shock washed over him as he realized his vulnerability.
Driven by madness, he lashed out at Misa. "You took my hands, but now you can't use your power! I have won!!!" He surrounded her with tail and a torrent of water, cutting off her air supply.
Despite everyone believing Nimax had won, Misa found a way to free her remaining hand. She grasped his neck, preparing one final ray to end the battle.
"No! You shouldn't be able to use it again!" Nimax shouted in disbelief. He felt himself on the brink of death, trapped by her immense power.
Misa, with her last reserves of strength, unleashed a radiant blast that split the sky in two. She sacrificed her arm to channel this power, but it was a sacrifice that paid off. The energy surged forth, overwhelming Nimax.
As his lifeless body began to sink, half-rotted from the radiation. "Hah, that's called tactic, everything went how i wanted." With this words, Misa lost her mind in despair. Unable to swim, she began to drown. But just then, the Doom Master erased the water around her, catching her before she succumbed.
[Hanz]
Hanz shouted, "Save the winner! Doctors, go and heal her!" As they took the injured Misa away, he announced the end of the battle: "We witnessed the most intense duel yet, but don't relax. The strongest fighters are still waiting for their turn!"
[Doom Master]
Sitting on his throne, the Doom Master tried to understand the pain that welled up in his heart whenever he saw Misa. Their first meeting had left a similar mark on him.
He pondered why her soul felt so familiar, but the memory eluded him—like a massive part of his past had been erased.
Determined, he entered the room where Misa lay recovering. The doctors had only managed to heal part of her injuries.
"Leave immediately! I will stay here," he commanded, and without hesitation, the doctors complied, abandoning their patient with the most unstoppable being in the universe.
Once they were alone, he looked deep into Misa's soul. "Yes, there is something familiar about you, but I don't know what it is," he murmured. Laughing at himself, he added, "Hah, why am I worrying about a mortal? I've seen countless like her, yet she's the only one who is hurting my heart so bad."
He began to heal her injuries. Doom master whisperer "Live, little one, let's meet again someday." Before leaving, he unconsciously kissed her on the forehead, then quickly departed, embarrassed by own action.
