Chapter 5 - Identity

Wild emotions surged through Rann as he couldn't quite believe that Justus wasn't his real father.

He had spent 18 years knowing him and suddenly discovering this secret hurt him like thousand knives stabbing through his heart. Besides, was it even a secret when almost every ears had heard of the story except himself.

He already left Silvertons school as he battled alone with his thoughts.

At his younger years, he hadn't gotten any friends due to the position his Justus holds as the only powerful Vanisher in Erebus weave...

Erebus weave consist of several planets with planet Zenzi star included. In that weave, no one had ever managed to breakthrough to become a Vanisher except Justus.Which portrayed him as an overlord.

Rann was still overwhelmed with shock.

Justus was actually never his father.

Maybe... it's simply a lie!

Or no, the kids shouldn't lie with the Vanisher's name knowing how powerful he really is. Even Silverton is considered an ant in Justus eyes.

So, it's true?

18 years ago when Justus arrived at Zenzi star planet, there was an uproar. People exclaimed at his victory because he had been sent on a mission by the higher up, Emberson's Tribe.

The list of people sent on the missions were 29. 28 died but Justus survived especially due to his immaculate strength. But what stunned people most during his return wasn't actually his survival, but the fact that he returned with a crying baby in his arm.

Justus had to explain that the baby was a survivor of earth during the Vallions Sequence invasion so no one spoke of it but turns out, one's past was somehow going to resurface sooner or later.

Rann arrived at the Grand mansion, but before he would enter, space divided and a figure dashed out.

It was Silverton.

Silverton was a space exploring powerhouse and as a Skymender, his power was already vast enough to allow him tear space or even rip the void and that was how he managed to appear almost in an instant which had taken Rann almost an eternity walking down.

"Son..."

Rann turned towards him.

"Did you know this too?"

Silverton let out a small sigh.

"I... We..."

"I, we, nothing!" Rann cuts in angrily.

"How can dad keep such an important detail from me and you help him hide it?"

Silverton pressed his hands against his temples showing how fed up he already was.

Sigh... troublesome kids I'd teach them a lesson.

He looked at Rann and smiled.

"Justus didn't think it was the right time for you to know. Infact, didn't you know something about 'emotional damage' Just think about it."

Rann immediately barged into the house.

He tried hiding his emotions but he failed.

His anger, his desperation... they formed a domain that surged by means of his energy which caused a pressure to descend.

Suddenly, the void warped.

Justus stepped out but he froze as a bad premonition washed him.

Rann stared at him and he stared back at Rann.

"What happened kid?"

"Dad, was I a survivor from earth?" Rann asked.

Countless shard pieces of emotions broke in Justus heart.

What on earth? Who told him that? Since he's under my protection, who would dare...

"It's Jake! Mr Woodsen's son."

Justus looked bitter.

"Right..."

Rann's eyes immediately welled with tears.

"Dad, tell me that it's a joke please. I couldn't have been an abandoned child would I?"

Justus pulled Rann in for a hug.

He didn't stop there.

"You really are of earth. You survived an invasion from the Vallions Sequence as a baby whereas everyone either died or was captured."

"You need to avenge earth! That's why I've been so hard on you about your cultivation."

"I expect you to release your people from captivity... and, I heard about your ordeal today. Good job! But for you to become a student of Extreme Academy, you should be able to break realm and defeat a Sub-Parallel or even a Parallel. Become a Realmbreaker."

Rann's eyes twitched.

His dad really wanted too much from him.

One thing Justus was certain about was, Rann has a terribly powerful innate bloodline. Although, he did not know what that bloodline was nor had Rann ever used it, he could feel it's magnificent aura.

After cultivation was born to the multiple universes, both battle techniques, innate bloodlines, sword techniques, spiritual techniques and so on were discovered.

Once one enters the path of cultivation, they would meet countless bloodlines on the way these bloodlines, there'd be the ones that accepts and ones that reject... all in all they still chooses. Rann had luckily stumbled on one which defied all era.

Rann understood why his dad had been too demanding and realizing that he hadn't been too serious with his cultivation, the desire to grow much stronger suddenly surged within him. His emotions were immediately unsurped and he stared at Justus.

He would be the first to walk paths ahead in Extreme Academy.

He would also walk paths ahead and become a peerless youth.

He would be the Pinnacle of power within his realm and above some.

"What's your innate bloodline?"

Justus suddenly asked throwing Rann into a river of emotions.

Suddenly, within Rann's mind he heard a voice.

'It must be kept a secret...'

'Do not tell anyone of the legendary bloodline...'

'You would be cursed for life if that bloodline becomes exposed...'

Rann's brows knitted in confusion as a massive headache descended.

Was this something about his life or his past life? Why didn't he remember this within his childhood?

Rann immediately shook his head.

"No dad! I prefer it not known at all... a known bloodline is the nemesis to the owner."

Even as he made this statement, he didn't know what had inspired it.

Justus let out a small laugh.

"It's fine! Besides you're correct, a known bloodline is the nemesis to the owner."

Justus chuckled afterwards and ruffled Rann's hair.

"So child, are you ready to go back to Silverton? He's still waiting for you?"

Determination flashed within Rann's eyes.

"I'm ready dad!"
