Jetson takes out a can of soda and kept it back in his pocket dimension.
"That soda wasn't for me?"

"Free turkey?! You mean the whole ass turkey? No way!"

"Wow... Is it like thanksgiving? How did that came to being?"
"It's not exactly thanksgiving. The history went way back into 38th century."
"Ok. Uh, is delivering this dish going to be long? "
"It sometimes take a while since billion others are also ordering at the moment."

"Ok... so in 38th century, after egypt becoming superpower, the country of Turkey received a huge gain from being an ally with Egypt. It also profited more than other allies of Egypt because Turkey had developed advanced offshore drilling technology for Mediterranean underwater gas reserves that Egypt lacks. These natural gas also had properties to enhance the qualities of the oldies.
Since the wealth was constantly rising from being closed with the strongest superpower, the Turkish government had too many choices on what to do with all these budgets. One advisor suggested that they should change the national animal to Turkey. And he also said they should have more turkey farms. And everyone somehow aggred with him.
So they bought and farmed turkeys. Lots of turkeys... more than 900 million at the very least. About 65 percent of them snorted oldies in their gaseous form. They quickly overthrew the government. These smart birds held the whole country hostage with the sheer quantity alone but didn't go beyond the border because most of them were high on overdosing.
Luckily, it was at the age where combined strength of social justice warriors around the world was at its peak. It was the best time for minority rights and humanitarian aids. When turkeys overthrew the government, remaining turkish people became oppressed minority. At first people only do non violent protests near the borders but after the turkeys replied back with weapons and threats, they were jumped by all the nighboring country forces including the top dog Egypt.
five years later, Turkey gained freedom after wiping out 89 percent of the turkey population and the 11 percent surrendering with their own independent state. They almost solved the world hunger with crap tons of turkey meat exports. That was how the free turkey day came into being. Oh hey, your turkey is ready."
