Chapter 245 - Chapter 245: The Battle of Mew and Mewtwo

"Mewtwo!" Ash's pupils contracted slightly, and he gestured for the others to retreat.

Although Marshadow offered protection, Mewtwo's strength was evident. Even if Marshadow fought Mewtwo, it might not be able to protect them all.

Now that Mew had appeared and Mewtwo seemed focused on it, they didn't need to confront Mewtwo directly. They could wait for an opportunity to help Mew defeat him.

This was Ash's plan. Marshadow wouldn't attack unless they were in danger, and Ash didn't dare to gamble on Marshadow's ability to block Mewtwo's attacks.

A wave rippled through the smoke, revealing Mew and the three Trainers. Under Mew's protection, Mewtwo's Aura Sphere had no effect, and even the floor remained unscathed.

"So strong..." Brock and Misty were amazed. Mewtwo's Aura Sphere was undoubtedly powerful, yet Mew had effortlessly resisted it and protected the others.

Mew, along with the three Trainers, teleported away, reappearing beside Ash. Before anyone could react, Mew teleported again, vanishing to an unknown location.

Mewtwo's reaction was slightly slower, but it quickly sensed Mew's position. Its face darkened, and it aimed at the wall behind the banquet hall, launching another Aura Sphere.

"Boom!" The wall collapsed, and Mewtwo rushed out, ignoring the falling debris. Outside, a massive stadium awaited.

Mew floated in the center of the stadium, facing Mewtwo. Although it didn't want to fight, it knew that if it didn't, Mewtwo would only continue down a destructive path.

"Aren't you going to run away?" Mewtwo approached Mew, a smile on its face as it realized Mew wouldn't flee. It clenched its fists and charged.

Psychic energy surged, a rare blue color unlike ordinary Psychic attacks. Mewtwo formed a shield around itself and rammed into Mew.

Mew, also using Psychic, formed a shield and met Mewtwo's charge.

"Bang!" The collision sent shockwaves through the air, cracking the floor and turning the stadium into ruins.

Even those in the banquet hall were affected by the impact and had to shield themselves.

"What terrifying power..." Brock, Misty, and the others were awestruck. Ash, however, had anticipated the immense power of these two Pokémon.

"But..." Ash glanced at the system interface. Both Mewtwo and Mew's strength remained displayed as "???," indicating they were either legendary level or even higher.

In the arena, the two Pokémon, unable to overpower each other with pure energy, separated and charged again, using their momentum to intensify the impact.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" The continuous collisions shattered the battlefield, reducing stones to dust.

As they unleashed more energy, the shockwaves grew stronger, and cracks began to appear in the banquet hall.

Outside, the clear sky darkened, and a storm brewed, as if mirroring the battle's intensity.

"Pikachu, can you help them destroy these Mewtwo Balls?" Ash asked, seeing the escalating battle and fearing for the Trainers' safety if the fortress collapsed.

"Pika!" Pikachu nodded. The three Trainers placed the Mewtwo Balls on the ground.

Brock released Onix to shield them from the impact.

"Thunderbolt!" Ash commanded, and Pikachu unleashed a powerful electric attack on the Mewtwo Balls.

The Mewtwo Balls emitted a strange blue arc, followed by black smoke and explosions. One by one, the Pokémon emerged, freed from their captivity.

"Great! Pidgeot!" Yusho exclaimed, embracing his Pidgeot, relieved to be reunited. Luna and Hiroshi felt the same, their bonds with their Pokémon reaffirmed.

"Boom!" The battle outside raged on, the energy intensifying. The banquet hall continued to crumble under the strain, but Onix diligently deflected the debris.

"Everyone, get out of here immediately!" Ash urged, releasing Pidgeot and Charizard.

Charizard focused his eyes on the two Pokémon on the battlefield. Their speed was so fast that ordinary people and Pokémon could barely see the two beams of light colliding, but Charizard and Pikachu could see them clearly, though with some difficulty.

Charizard's eyes showed fighting intent. He truly wanted to battle these two Pokémon, but he knew that now was not the time, and he wouldn't be a match for the two combatants who were already engaged in a fierce struggle.
