Chapter 141 - Avengers VI

The team arrived to see the mayhem Loki had caused. Civilians were panicked, and vehicles were scattered across the streets. Loki, in his usual theatrical fashion, stood at the center of the chaos, commanding people to kneel as he delivered his speech about domination.

Tony didn't say anything and then just rushed in front of him. Loki, who was mid-speech, suddenly looked bewildered as Tony landed, his suit whirring. Tony threw a punch with all his strength, knowing Loki was a god. He didn't hesitate; despite Loki's powers, Tony was ready to take him down. Loki barely had time to react, and he was forced to block the punch with his staff, but it barely stopped Tony's strike.

Back at the top of the building, Dave observed the situation. He wasn't concerned about Tony's strength, but because Loki was still standing, despite Tony's power. Tony's level was close to that of Thor in Endgame, which meant Tony could easily tore punch through building. The fact that Loki was still standing was impressive.

"It seems he has trained really hard," Dave muttered, then he turned to Captain America, who was ready to jump into action. "Don't waste your breath, Tony can handle it"

Hawkeye nodded and gestured toward the battlefield. "yes, There's no need," he said, noticing that Loki seemed to be getting overpowered by Tony. "He can easily handle it."

"We should at least get the civilians out," Captain America said, as Dave nodded.

"Make a frost wall around them," Dave instructed, and Pepper quickly floated out, summoning a wall of ice that enclosed Tony and Loki, isolating them from the civilians.

"Others are safe now," Dave said, glancing over at Captain America, who stood with his shield behind his back. "Why are we even here?" he muttered, more to himself than anyone else.

"Don't worry, buddy. We should be happy we're not needed, at least there is no causality" Hawkeye said, giving him a quick glance and shaking his head.

"How much longer do you think Loki will last?" Suddenly, Rhodes asked, breaking the silence.

Dave shrugged. "Depends on Tony. When he starts being serious, Loki will be finished," he replied.

Rhodes nodded, understanding. Tony was currently using the most basic form of his suit, not even tapping into the Haki abilities.

"It's like he's playing with him," Pepper observed.

Dave shrugged again. "Maybe he wanted to see how strong a god really is," he said, sitting calmly on the edge of the roof, observing the fight unfold below.

Soon, without any twists or surprises, the fight came to an end. Tony knocked Loki unconscious. Even when Loki tried to use his illusions, Tony, relying on Haki, found the real one and blasted him out of his disguise.

Tony then delivered a powerful punch, knocking Loki out cold. However, it seemed that Loki had been holding back. He never once used his staff, which was supposed to house the Mind Stone—the same stone that had helped him invade the SHIELD facility to steal the Tesseract Cube. Dave noticed this subtle detail and raised an eyebrow.

"Well, poor guy still thinks he can dominate Earth," Dave said, shaking his head.

The team quickly grabbed Loki and opened a portal, sending him back to the Helicarrier. The mission was over,

The team sat back aboard the Helicarrier, exchanging looks. Tony broke the silence first. "That guy was weak. I didn't even used 20% of my powers," he said, leaning back in his chair.

Captain America looked at him curiously. "How are you so strong?" he asked.

"Well, I have the blessing of TURBO Force," Tony explained. "It's a cosmic-level power, like many others. There's Speed Force, Time Force, Power Force, and many others. Like Emma here, she has Phoenix Force."

Captain America turned his gaze toward Emma, intrigued. "How did you all acquire these forces?"

Tony glanced at Dave, unsure how much to reveal, but he was careful with his words. "Well, it's... not something easy to describe," Tony said, pondering the best way to explain it.

Emma stepped in, her voice calm. "I acquired the Phoenix Force when I was reconnecting with my magic. My soul resonated with the Cosmic River, and from there, the Phoenix Force bonded with me."

Tony then added, "Same with me. I was making my armors listening to music, and then, boom! I felt it—my soul ignited with the Turbo Force. I didn't even understand what was happening until I my body was in cased in Bluish white energy and I felt the surge of power." He smiled slightly, reminiscing. "Turbo Force is unlike anything else."

Captain America nodded thoughtfully, taking in their words. It was clear that their powers were not of this world, and understanding them fully would take more time.

Dave glanced at Captain America and Hawkeye, his usual calm demeanor accompanied by a slight smirk. "I can give you superpowers if you guys want," he said, a playful tone in his voice.

Hawkeye raised an eyebrow, sensing something off. "What's the catch?" he asked, eyeing Dave suspiciously.

"The catch is simple: you guys can never fight me," Dave said with a grin. However, in his mind, he added, Well, not like you guys could ever stand a chance in front of me anyway, powers or not.

"Wait, so we just can't attack you?" Hawkeye asked, trying to get a clearer understanding.

Dave nodded. "Yes, we'll sign an agreement. I give you powers and you can never go against me," he said confidently.

Captain America looked to Hawkeye, who gave a small nod. "Deal," Captain America finally agreed, shaking Dave's hand.

"Great, here, sign this," Dave said, snapping his fingers, and materializing a glowing contract. The others watched curiously.

"Is this a devil contract?" Tony asked, joking as he leaned toward Dave.

"It is," Dave replied, smirking as Captain America took the black paper with red sigils on it.

"This is the same thing you said?" Captain America asked, reading the contract carefully. Dave nodded.

"Verbal agreements are fragile, but not magical," Dave explained. "This contract is more of a safeguard."

Captain America nodded, then asked, "Where's the pen?"

"Just a drop of blood, no pen," Dave said as Captain America nodded, pricking his finger with his dagger. Hawkeye did the same, and Dave watched as the paper burned briefly, turning black before it returned to Captain America and Hawkeye.
