January 31st,
Diary, it hasn't been easy living with Uncle Hugo. May I add that he's even wierder (if there's a word like that) these days....and Ray doesn't seem to notice. They play video games together, go out together, watch soccer matches together and Ray began to stick to him, like glue.
I tried asking him about Uncle Hugo's bracelet the previous evening when Hugo had gone out and, my brother was as unsuspecting as a baby!
"Uhm Ray?"
"Yeah?" He answered, looking up at me.
"Don't you think Hugo's bracelet looks a bit wierd?" I asked. He paused a little, looking at me with a confused expression.
"Yeah?"
"Have you ever asked him about it? I mean, he wears it all the time. Doesn't he get some aches around there?" I asked. I was trying to make the conversation as casual as possible so as not to arouse any suspicions from him.
"Well, I don't think asking him is a good idea. The only time I did, he was really upset about it and he never said anything about it again. So I let it slide. But I think it's cool though." He said, shrugging.
"But-"
"Nope. I'm done talking about that. I think your cookies are burning." He said, facing the T.V as i rushed to check them.
Ugh! Dead end.
"Guys, I fear for my brother. Something's definitely up with Hugo." I said to Lissa and Antony.
"Do you think he might have an idea of where Dany is?" Tony asked.
"The chances are high. But I thought they only have their members in Brookville. Hugo's coming from another state so.....I'm real confused." I said, massaging my temples.
"Guys it's been days since Dany got kidnapped and we have no idea whether she's alive or not....I say we follow your uncle." Lissa suggested as I thought about it.
"Hmm....his movements these days are suspicious so I agree." I said.
"Let's pray." Tony said.
