February 6th,
Dear diary, we spent the whole of last night just worshipping God and reading verses to lift our spirits. Tony was much better now, after taking his medications and may I add that Uncle Hugo was much more nicer and attentive these days, although he still went out often, he began taking us shopping and he paid Tony's hospital bills completely.
After we had our bible study together where we went deeper into Psalm 91 and learned new things, we decided to talk about the note I saw.
"It's because of what happened that night that we couldn't discuss about the note I found..." I said, passing the note to them as they read it and passed to another person.
"Guys, am I the only one who thinks what happened that night was strange? I mean, in a matter of minutes after the power went out, Tony got hit on the head, Ray was kidnapped and left at the entrance of the town and Sandy found a note when she came home." Lissa said as Ray rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"I agree. But who should we suspect? I mean, although Uncle Hugo has become nice all of a sudden and he really helped is that night so..." his voice trailed off as we went silent for a while.
"We need to analyze this. Let us start by asking questions. Firstly, who would want to harm us? Secondly, who would leave such a cryptic note behind?" I asked as they nodded.
"Oh and guys, do you know one other thing that happened?" I asked.
"What?" Tony asked.
"The bracelet's gone missing." I said as they looked at me with shock and disbelief on their faces.
"What?!" They asked simultaneously.
"When? How?" Ray asked.
"This morning, I checked my drawer and I couldn't find it there. That was where I hid it ever since we found it and I have a feeling it was when we were attacked because I still saw it on the morning of that day." I said.
"But who would do this? You mean the bracelet was stolen?" Lissa asked as I nodded.
"Hmm....this is getting complex by the minute. I mean, how would the attacker know where it was kept?" Ray asked.
"That brings two people to the top of our suspect list." Tony said thoughtfully.
"Who are those?" I asked as the rest of us looked at him expectantly.
"Danielle and Uncle Hugo."

"Danielle was very close to you and she often visited you."
"So?"
"She might've seen the bracelet." He said.
"Okay? I don't really see how all these add up..." Lissa said, exchanging confused looks with me. Ray groaned a bit.
"Don't you remember everything that happened? Everything she confessed that day? She might even be the one behind all these mess. She might've seen the bracelet and probably told someone in the cult about it because a few days after that, she got 'kidnapped' and then I hear Uncle Hugo say it's part of their plan" Ray said, pacing around the sitting room.
"And then, we get attacked, the bracelet went missing and a cryptic note was left behind." Tony said.
"Wow. So there is a possibility that Dany actually betrayed us?" I asked as they all nodded. Lissa seemed to get it now.
"Do you recognize the handwriting? "Tony asked, stretching the note to me. I looked at it closely but it was too legible and neat to resemble Dany's car-free handwriting.
"No I don't." I said.
"So it's probably not her. Okay guys, I think it's time to see what our spy pen recorded. I hid it for a while because Uncle Hugo almost caught me taking it out of his jacket. That's why we haven't been able to see it yet." He said, leading the way to his room where we all sat down in front of his computer.
"Here goes nothing."
