January 21st,
It was 2:00am...
Dany woke up from her sleep, rolling from one side of her sleeping bag to the other side. (She had eventually slept at my place but Lissa and Tony didn't tonight). She began to pant heavily and I heard her breathlessly mutter some words.
"P-please don't k-kill me. Please." She begged. She immediately clung to her neck, choking like as if someone was strangling her. I immediately rushed to her side and began to pray.
"Satan loose your grip over her now! Loose your grip now! For the bible says, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you". Satan I resist you. Loose your grip over her life."
(James 4:7)
I prayed harder and began to speak in tongues. But she clung tighter to her neck and her face was so red, I thought she was going to die now. I became angry because I know the devil did that just to put fear in my heart. But instead of getting afraid, I prayed harder as my Mum joined me, praying.
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" Satan you cannot have her life because Jesus has already given her life in abundance. Now leave this body alone! Your torment over her life has come to an end!" I shouted.
(John 10:10).
"Danielle call the name of Jesus. Shout His name! Say Jesus! For all those who call upon the name of the Lord would be saved." Mum said, patting her head gently as Dany breathlessly called Jesus and then she fainted.

"Thank you so much Sandy. I appreciate all your efforts, I really do." She said, hugging me.
"You're welcome Dany. But remember, it's only because God used me. If He hadn't, I wouldn't be able to help you. Now what do you say about going to church tomorrow? " I asked as she grinned widely. I hadn't seen her this happy for a long time and it warmed my heart.
"Well, I'm looking forward to it! Oh my, I slept so well; i can't remember when last I slept that way." Sshw said as I nodded.
"But remember, there is an ongoing battle between light and darkness and you cannot relent." I paused to make sure she was listening attentively.
"We pray for strength to resist evil and to actively battle against it. We pray for wisdom in the conflict." I said, explaining further.
"I'll teach you more you'd need to know about God as the Holy Spirit leads."
"I'm looking forward to it, Sandy. I really do. Even after I'd refused to have anything to do with Jesus, He still saved me...I'm not worth it Sandy, I'm not." she started getting emotional again.
"Oh c'mon He loves you! More than you ever imagine. It's because of this great love He has for you that he died on the cross for your sins. He was the Atonement for our sins. He died so that we can find life in Him. And He rose again on the third day and now He's seated at the right hand side on the throne of God." I have her a bear hug as Mum walked in.
"Awwwn, look at you two. I''m so glad to see you both back together again." She said, smiling as we laughed. My stomach growled loudly and we all laughed heartily.
"Uh-oh. Looks like someone's really hungry. We'd better cook something quickly. What do you girls think of having some chicken n' chips?" Shhe asked as my mouth began to water.
"It's a deal." I said as we walked to the kitchen together.
