"Good afternoon, everyone. So, why did you call me?" Kaizo walked up and waved to them. Seeing that another person came, Hagrid's reaction was not happy, but he also looked quite annoyed. Hermione opened her mouth and wanted to say something, but Ron held her back.
"We promised Hagrid, Hermione." Ron whispered righteously, "We shouldn't tell more people about this."
"But he's Kaizo Grindel," Hermione looked at Ron blankly, "Isn't he our friend?"
Seeing the attitude of his two friends, Harry was very embarrassed. What Hermione wanted to say was a secret between him, Ron, Hermione and Hagrid. Harry didn't know whether he should tell Kaizo what happened without the other party's consent. Seeing their mysterious looks, Kaizo immediately guessed what was going on– this secret of their should probably be something about either the Philosopher's Stone or that young dragon egg which Hagrid got.
But their attitude made Kaizo quite annoyed. "Well, originally I was very willing to help you, but since you don't want my help, I can only wish you a happy holiday."
With that said, he turned his head and walked directly towards the Ravenclaw Tower.
"How could you treat him like this."
Seeing Kaizo leave, Hermione also became very angry.
"Kaizo is recognized as the best student among the first years, and is also a frequent visitor of the library. He has read most of the books here, so he would definitely know something about Nicolas Flamel."
"And he has always helped us many times since the school started. Why do you have to hide it from him?"
Ron was immediately speechless after being scolded by Hermione. Harry also felt very annoyed and frustrated. He should have told Kaizo the truth earlier, but he was worried about Ron's attitude and kept silent. Ron always felt that the thing about the Forbidden Corridor and Nicolas Flamel should be their adventure.
If Kaizo was told, he would probably be able to solve the problem by himself and then they would be able to do nothing. At this point, Hermione bit her lip:
"No, I have to find him."
After saying that, without waiting for Harry and Ron to react, she chased after Kaizo. But in the end, she was blocked by the Eagle Ring outside the common room door. That's right, Hermione wasn't able to answer the riddle of the Eagle Ring.
Sure enough, the Eagle's Ring should have some kind of identification feature. For hundreds of years, no one other than Ravenclaw has entered the Ravenclaw lounge. Thinking about it, this is why Hermione has the qualifications of both Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, but the Sorting Hat sorted her into Gryffindor.
Hermione is indeed a smart girl who meets the requirements of Ravenclaw, but most of her intelligence lies in memory, logical thinking and rationality. She still lacks one traits before she is a real Ravenclaw. That's the creativity that allows you to let yourself go.
Throughout the entire Harry Potter movie, the person who best fits the characteristics of Ravenclaw is a crazy girl, "Luna Lovegood." Although this girl is always crazy in the eyes of outsiders, and her mind is filled with fantasies that only she can see, her madness is both wise and foolish.
If Hermione's intelligence allows her to cope with all possible situations, then Luna's intelligence allows her to have a flash of inspiration when facing unexpected situations.
As the saying goes,"Genius is 99% hard work and 1% talent." But few people know the follow up to that sentence, "The 1% talent is the most important."
Hermione was a little frustrated at being not able to enter the Ravenclaw Common Room. But soon she had another idea.
"Maybe I can go to the library tomorrow and wait for him there."
However, Kaizo did not go to the library or even the Great Hall the next day. After packing up his things, he went to the Room of Requirement, and after that he directly boarded the train back to London, leaving Hermione completely disappointed. After getting off the train, Kaizo skillfully boarded a bus and went to Leaky Cauldron. At this moment, he desperately hoped that he could learn Apparition.
Otherwise, as a wizard, he would have to squeeze into the bus with Muggles, which is quite shameful. Opening the door to the bar, it was still dark inside as usual.
"Good Morning, old Tom, I'm back."
Kaizo walked straight to the counter and greeted Tom Abbott, who was wiping the board.
"Kaizo, it's you. You're back from Hogwarts." Old Tom had a hint of surprise after seeing Kaizo during the Christmas Break.
"Kaizo, It seems that you're addicted to living in cubicles." Tom joked.
Kaizo shook his head, showed an arrogant smile, and put 1 Galleon and 5 sickles in front of Tom.
"No, give a room this time. I have money now, and now you can give a room for me to live here forever."
"I haven't seen you for a few months, but it seems that you're not the same boy anymore." Tom looked Kaizo up and down and commented. In these months of correspondence with his niece Hannah, he learned about Kaizo's performance in Hogwarts.
He became recognized as a genius as soon as he entered school. With his intelligence, it's not surprising that the boy changed like this in a few months.
"Okay, this time it's my treat." Old Tom took out a key from the drawer, put it in Kaizo's hands, and returned the 1 Galleon. "5 Sickles for a week, this is the discount for an old customer like you."
Kaizo took the key, went up to the second floor, and found the room number 9 according to the key number. Opening the door, there was a comfortable looking bed in the room, several pieces of bright oak furniture, and a cackling fire in the fireplace. Kaizo put down his things, placed the cage containing Artemis on the top of the closet, and then went downstairs.
Arriving in the backyard of the Leaky Cauldron, he took out his wand and tapped on the bricks on the wall, and Diagon Alley appeared. Because it was Christmas, Diagon Alley was still very lively, with Christmas decorations hanging everywhere, bells jingling, merchants launching Christmas special products, with many wizards and witches wandering around aimlessly.
This made Kaizo very confused. Obviously wizard kind does not believe in any religion. They didn't believe in Jesus or God, but were full of Merlin's deeds. So why did these group of wand waving people bother celebrating Christmas?
Of course, Kaizo doesn't expect to get answers in Diagon Alley either. He kept his box and walked straight to a junk shop. It was a shop filled with tattered wands, rickety copper scales and old potion stained cloaks. It sold not only second hand magic items, but also used books.
Kaizo had purchased a lot of his equipment from here. But today, this is where he is going to make his first fortune.
"Old man, come out to pick up customers." Kaizo shouted when he arrived at the door of the store.
"I'm coming, quit yelling."
Soon, a skinny old man walked out of the junk shop with a cigarette under his arm. Old man Strucker, full name Baron Strucker.
He looks very old, but his movements are quite agile, it is said that he was a vampire hunter in his youth. With the continuous and strict implementation of the wizarding laws, today's vampires are all hiding under the supervision of wizards, and so the vampire hunting profession disappeared over time. During the months he worked in Diagon Alley, due to his lack of funds, Kaizo got to know him very well.
This old man now usually likes to stay alone in the store and smoke, since he is not afraid of his things being taken away. Now when he looked at Kaizo, he grinned an ugly smile.
"Huh, it's you, Kaizo. Are you here to buy second hand goods?"
"No, quite the opposite."
Kaizo pushed the box in his hand,
"I'm here to sell something this time."
