Father and Son Clash
When Lancelot heard Galahad's taunting remark, his face darkened with irritation. If it weren't for the young man's sharp tongue, Lancelot would have been inclined to view him more favourably. As it was, he felt perplexed about the source of this young knight's hostility. Where did this animosity come from? I don't recall any personal grievances.
Determined not to be outmatched, Lancelot focused on the battle. Having gauged the strength of his opponent, he knew that Galahad was a formidable foe. With a resolve to not be outdone, he prepared for a serious confrontation.
On the other side, Galahad was fully aware of Lancelot's reputation as one of the strongest knights. Even though Lancelot was younger, Galahad knew he needed to fight with everything he had.
As the duel continued, Lott and Morgan arrived at the scene.
"Let me assist Galahad," Lott decided, seeing the intense struggle between father and son. Despite his own lower skill level compared to Lancelot and Galahad, he felt compelled to help.
Drawing his sword, Lott joined the fray. Although his strength was less than that of either of the two combatants, his presence forced Lancelot to divide his attention.
Lancelot, feeling the impact of Lott's intervention, quickly shifted his focus to defend against him. Despite the added pressure, he found himself struggling to maintain his composure against the coordinated attack.
Galahad, noticing Lott's involvement, called out, "Although this might not align with the traditional spirit of chivalry, given the current situation, let's defeat this adversary together."
Lott couldn't help but chuckle at Galahad's comment. It's amusing how chivalry seems to vanish when faced with real combat.
"Let's deal with the enemy first and sort out the rest later," Lott agreed.
Amid the battle, Lancelot was frustrated by the lack of chivalric conduct from his opponents. "Can you two truly call yourselves knights with such behaviour? I thought I came here for a duel, not to be attacked by two at once!"
Lancelot was bewildered by the apparent lack of honour from his opponents. What's with this hostility? I came to challenge Lott, not to be ambushed.
Galahad, unfazed, retorted, "When dealing with an intruder, chivalry is not a priority. If you've chosen to act this way, you should be prepared to abandon such ideals."
Lancelot felt a surge of frustration. I came to fight Lott, not to be mobbed by you. This young knight's hostility seems personal. Despite trying to focus on the fight, Lancelot couldn't shake the feeling that he had unknowingly offended Galahad.
As the battle intensified, Lott and Galahad's combined attacks began to overwhelm Lancelot. Lott, sensing the opportunity, decided to use a different approach. He stepped back and drew an MP5 from his waist.
Galahad and Lancelot momentarily separated, giving Lott the chance to begin firing at Lancelot. The rapid bursts of bullets seemed to flood the area, forcing Lancelot to take cover.
Lancelot, initially caught off guard, quickly adapted to the new threat. He saw the unfamiliar weapon and the metal projectiles it unleashed. While the damage wasn't catastrophic, the sheer volume of fire made it difficult to defend against all the projectiles.
Amidst the distraction, Galahad pressed his advantage. He struck Lancelot's shoulder armour, knocking it aside, and then delivered a powerful kick to his side.
Lancelot rolled away, narrowly avoiding a more severe blow. "You're being too ruthless!" he exclaimed, feeling the sting of the attack.
Lott, observing the chaotic scene, couldn't help but find humour in the situation. Is this what they mean by "father and son" bonding? Galahad did go all out against his father.
Morgan, meanwhile, was taken aback by the unfolding events. Watching from a distance, she struggled to understand the dynamic between the two combatants. Father and son? But this knight looks too young to have a teenage child!
The clash continued, with Lott and Galahad relentlessly pressing their assault. The battle highlighted the complex relationships and shifting alliances among the characters, setting the stage for further conflicts and revelations.
