The Unspoken Tension

As Merlin left with an air of intrigue, Morgan and Lott were left alone. Morgan had intended to discuss her sister with Lott but found herself at a loss for words.

"What's wrong?" Lott asked, noticing her hesitation.

Morgan paused, gathering her thoughts before speaking. "I'm curious about these items. They don't originate from Britain. How did you come by them? Did you create them yourself?"

Lott's response was evasive. "That's a man's secret," he said with a dismissive smile.

Although Lott's plug-in wasn't very useful, he was wary of revealing its existence. If others knew about it, he'd lose a valuable asset.

Morgan, undeterred, pressed further. "Do you have more interesting items? I'd like to know more about you and the things you possess."

Lott, pleased with her interest, responded, "Yes, when we return, I'll show you more. You'll see things you've never seen before in Camelot."

Morgan's face brightened at the prospect. "Really? I'm eager to see them."

Lott's heart skipped a beat at her enthusiasm. If she became more absorbed in his artefacts, it might divert her from her ambitions for Camelot. Lott found the thought of such a shift in focus quite appealing.

He looked at Morgan, her dignified yet noble presence adding to her allure. "Indeed, you'll see many fascinating things. I'm glad you're interested," he thought to himself.

The Plans and Uncertainties

Morgan, observing Lott's excitement, wondered if there was more to him than met the eye. His apparent enthusiasm and apparent secrets suggested layers beyond his surface demeanour. Was his apparent carelessness merely an act? Was he truly different from the traditional knight she was accustomed to?

Lott's plan to keep her distracted from her ambitions seemed to be working. Morgan resolved to uncover his true intentions and see if his affections were genuine or part of a larger scheme. Her anticipation for the next day grew as she thought about Lott's true nature.

"Lott, I'll see you tomorrow," Morgan said with a hopeful glance.

"Goodnight, Princess Morgan," Lott replied, watching her leave. He wondered why her demeanour felt so different from what he had expected.

The Pocket Watch and the Fishing Expedition

Back in his tent, Lott retrieved his pocket watch, which was a crucial component of his plug-in. The watch's pointer, usually reliant on solar energy, had unexpectedly reached the midnight position.

"This is unusual. Did Morgan's presence affect it?" Lott wondered. The shift in timepieces seemed to hint at something more magical at play, given the changes in his environment and the mystical aura surrounding Morgan.

The pocket watch, which Lott had always believed relied on solar energy, now seemed to absorb magical energy. This realization was startling, but he had no time to dwell on it. He needed to use his plug-in before it was too late.

Picking up his fishing rod, Lott prepared for another fishing expedition. His plug-in, "Fishing Guys Never Air Force," allowed him to catch items from different eras, but it required the rod to be in working condition and the fishing environment to be just right.

Lott vanished from his tent and reappeared by a small, murky river. The water was turbulent, reflecting the magical disturbance he had sensed. Determined, he cast his rod with practised skill.

"Let's see what I can catch this time," he muttered, throwing the hook into the water.

As the rod sank, Lott's hands felt the weight of the catch. With a vigorous pull, he reeled in his prize. The object he retrieved was peculiar and somewhat disappointing, considering his expectations.

"What is this?" Lott examined the item with a bemused expression. The object's nature puzzled him, and he felt a growing sense of pressure as if the magical environment was reacting to his catch.

Realizing that staying any longer might attract unwanted attention, Lott decided to leave the area. The object in his hand was intriguing, but he would need to explore its significance later.

"Let's deal with this tomorrow," Lott resolved, as he returned to his tent. He needed rest to face whatever challenges awaited him.

Reflections and Unfolding Events

Lott, contemplating the day's events and his mysterious catch, prepared for the next day. The shifting dynamics between him and Morgan, combined with the mystical elements at play, set the stage for further developments.

As he drifted off to sleep, Lott's thoughts were a mix of strategy and curiosity about his newfound challenges. The upcoming journey promised more surprises, both magical and personal.
