PRESENT DAY IN THE MAGICAL REALM
"She gave up her pure magic, how can she do that?" King James asks no one in particular as he paces the room. "You are right dear, we can not not lift the binding spell until we find a way to transfer the pure magic back to her." He says as he touches Bella's face.
"I am sorry that all of this is happening because of me, uncle," Bella says.
"No, my dear it's not your fault, your mother transferred her pure magic to you to protect you." King James tells his niece. "I will take you to your mother so that you can finally meet her."
"Are you leaving today?" Lord lungu asks in surprise.
"Yes, I think I have overstayed my welcome." King James says.
"I thought I was going to spend some more time with my daughter. I have just met her for the first time, and now I have to watch her go." Lord lungu says.
King James looks at Lord Lungu with sympathy in his eyes. "I understand your feelings, lord lungu. But Bella's safety is of utmost importance right now. We need to find a way to transfer the pure magic back to Rose so that we can lift the binding spell before it's too late."
Lord Lungu nods in understanding, though a hint of sadness still lingers in his eyes. "I understand, I will do whatever it takes to help Bella. She is my daughter, after all. If going with you to the Oval Kingdom is our only option then I am fine with it."
"Can't I stay here for a day or two?" Bella asks her uncle.
"My dear, it's not just your life that's at risk but also your mother's. We can't waste any more time." King James replies.
"I know and I want my mother to get better but I also want to spend some time with my father and sisters," Bella says, trying to convince her uncle to let her stay in the great mountains for a few more days.
King James looks at Bella with a mixture of sympathy and understanding. He knows how much she longs to spend time with her family, but he also knows the urgency of the situation at hand.
"I know you want to stay, Belladonna," King James says gently, "but we can't afford to delay any longer. Your mother needs our help, and we must act quickly to save her."
Bella looks down, her heart torn between her desire to be with her family and her duty to help her mother. Lord Lungu places a comforting hand on her shoulder, offering her silent support.
"We need to find a way to break the binding spell and transfer the pure magic to your mother," Lord Lungu assures Bella. "But we must act now before it's too late, you need to go with your uncle my dear."
Bella nods, looking at her father who is smiling but she can tell that the smile is fake. She knows that her mother's safety is paramount, and she is willing to do whatever it takes to save her. But she is not going to deny her father a chance to spend time with his daughter.
"Let me stay here for a few days and then we will go to the Oval Kingdom and find a way to lift the spell," Bella says, determination shining in her eyes.
King James smiles at her. "There is no way I am changing your mind, is there?"
"No." She responds.
"You are just as stubborn as your mother, if not more. Fine, I will let you stay here for a few days. I will leave you with three of my guards, they will keep an eye on you for me." Bella smiles gratefully at her uncle, knowing that he understands her need to spend time with her family.
After agreeing that Bella would go to the Oval Kingdom in six days, King James bid farewell to lord lungu and the others. As he and two of his guards prepare to depart, they shift into their dragon forms, their majestic wings unfurling as they prepare to take flight.
The onlookers gasp in awe as the dragons rise into the sky, their scales shimmering in the sunlight. King James gives one last nod to Lord Lungu and the others before soaring off into the distance, heading back to the Oval Kingdom.
"I feel so tired," Bella says as they go back inside the house.
"I am sorry about that dear, we have prepared a room for you. Sarah, can you please show your sister to her bed chambers." Lady Lungu says. "We have prepared rooms for you guys too, come I will show you." She says to the others.
Bella follows Sarah who leads her to a room next to the one she woke up in. "Mother has always kept this room, she always said it was a guest room but she never let any guests stay in it. I guess she knew you would come home one day." Sarah says before opening the door to the room.
Bella's mouth opens in awe as she steps into the beautiful bedroom in front of her. Luxury is not a new concept to her; she grew up surrounded by it. But this room is on a whole other level. It is twice as big as the one she has in the human realm, with every detail meticulously designed to exude elegance and sophistication. She thought the room she woke up in was big but it was small compared to this.
The first thing that catches Bella's eye is the massive four-poster bed, draped in rich, silky fabrics and adorned with plush pillows. The headboard is carved with detailed designs, adding a touch of old-world charm to the room. The soft lighting casts a warm glow over the room, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
As Bella walks further into the room, she notices the luxurious seating area, complete with a velvet chaise lounge and a set of fancy armchairs. The walls are decorated with beautiful artwork and gilded mirrors, reflecting the room's grandeur. A crystal chandelier hangs from the ceiling, casting a dazzling display of light and shadows across the room.
The bathroom is just as impressive, with a marble-tiled floor and a massive soaking tub that looks like it could fit a small army. The vanity is decorated with gold fixtures and a large mirror that stretches from floor to ceiling. Bella can't help but feel like royalty as she takes in the sight before her.
Despite being accustomed to luxury, Bella is still taken aback by the sheer extravagance of this bedroom. It is a true testament to the wealth and power of her family.
"Sarah this is big," Bella finally says.
"Yes, it is the second-largest chamber in the castle," Sarah says.
"Wow, thanks."
"What are you thanking me for, Belladonna this is your home. You have the right to everything here."
"You are not mad that I am here?" Bella asks.
"Of course not you are my sister, stop overthinking things and get some rest. I will come and get you In time for dinner." Sarah says she leaves the room. Bella looks at her as she leaves and then throws herself at the massive bed.
