PRESENT DAY IN THE MAGICAL REALM
Lord Lungu paces back and forth in the common hall, his brow furrowed with worry as he waits for the dragons who have been spotted on the border of the great mountains. This unexpected sighting has Lord Lungu on edge, as the dragons are known to prefer staying within the confines of their kingdom.
The dragons, with their shimmering scales and fiery breath, are a sight to behold. They are revered and respected by all in the magical realm, and their presence outside of their kingdom is a rare occurrence. Lord Lungu knows that their appearance in the great mountains could mean trouble.
The Great Mountains is a peaceful and harmonious ward, where all creatures coexist in harmony. Lord Lungu is determined to maintain this balance, and he will do whatever it takes to ensure the safety and well-being of his ward. As he continues to pace the common hall, his mind races with thoughts of how to handle the situation with the dragons.
As he waits for more information to come in, Lord Lungu thinks about what could bring dragons to his ward. Could it be that King James has also found out about the child he has with Princess Rose?
Lord lungu knows that it is important to approach the situation with caution and diplomacy, as the dragons are not to be trifled with.
"Calm down, I am sure they have come In peace." Lady Lungu says as she sits in one of the chairs. "And ladies, I think you should go and get some rest. You are just from astral projecting but your magic has been drained." She says to her daughters who are also pacing the hall just like their father.
"No, Mother, we will rest after we find out what the dragons want," Nichole says.
"Do you think they know about Belladonna and that's why they are here?" Sarah asks.
"I have no idea, my dear, we will find out what they want soon." Lord lungu says.
Finally, after what seems like an eternity, one of his guards returns with news that the dragons are heading to his Residence with his best friend and General of his army, General Chanda. Lord lungu lets out a sign as he awaits their arrival.
Lord lungu hears footsteps heading to the common hall and takes a deep breath to calm his racing heart. It does not take long until General Chanda comes in followed by six dragons who are now in their human forms. The first one to catch his eye is the one right behind General Chanda. King James, his true mate Princess Rose's brother, the king of dragons. Lord lungu has only met King James once, when he tried to contact Princess Rose, the king had warned him not to do it ever again or he was going to burn him alive.
"Your Majesty," lord lungu greats.
"Lord Lungu," King James responds with a nod. "I apologize for the unexpected visit, but we come in peace. It has come to my attention that there is a child born of both our bloodlines, and we have come to see if it is true."
Lord Lungu's heart skips a beat at the mention of the child. He knows that Belladonna, his daughter with Princess Rose, is a secret that must be kept hidden at all costs. He looks at lady lungu and his three daughters who nod in understanding.
"We have no knowledge of any such child," Lord Lungu says carefully. "But if there is anything we can do to assist you, please let us know."
King James studies Lord Lungu for a moment and then takes a few steps towards him. "Are you sure about that lord lungu? Because if I find out that you are lying to me, I will not show any mercy."
Lord Lungu's heart races as King James speaks with a stern tone. He knows that the truth must be revealed, but the consequences of doing so could be dire. He does not know some of the dragons with King James and he is not going to risk the life of his daughter.
"All these dragons with me are trustworthy." King James says after noticing how lord lungu looked at them with suspicion. "You can tell me the truth because if you hide it, it will come out eventually."
Lord lungu looks at the dragons with King James for a few seconds, to see if they can truly be trusted. Lord lungu always has good instincts. "Your Majesty, I must confess that there is indeed a child born of both our bloodlines, but I did not know she existed until yesterday." Lord Lungu admits, his voice filled with nervousness. "But my daughters have located her and she is in safe hands."
King James raised an eyebrow, his expression unreadable. "You don't expect me to put my trust in you with the safety of my niece."
Lord Lungu takes a moment to gather his thoughts before responding. "Belladonna is mine and Princess Rose's daughter. I can never do anything to hurt her. My daughters have told me that she possesses great powers and the powers are hurting her because she has never used her magic before. Her dragon and her wolf want to be let out because they have been dormant since the day she was born. If the brotherhood finds out how powerful she is they will want to have her."
King James listens intently, his gaze unwavering. After a moment of silence, he finally speaks. "I understand your reasons, Lord Lungu. But I must see this child for myself. I must ensure that she is safe."
Lord Lungu nods, "I have not met her before either. Princess Rose left her in the human realm with my brother and his mate. They are guardians. I will wait for my brother to bring her here. If he does not bring her then I will go and get her from the human realm myself."
