PRESENT DAY IN THE MAGICAL REALM
Lord lungu looks at the beings in front of him and feels like someone is playing tricks on him.
"Mike," he calls his twin brother's name and walks towards him.
"Davon," lord mike says, not moving from where he is standing with Bella in his hands.
Lord lungu reaches where his twin brother is standing and looks at the unconscious woman in his arms. Lord Lungu's heart skips when he looks at her face. She looks exactly like his missing mate.
"My daughter," he says as he touches her hair. "You look exactly like your mother."
The guards look at lord lungu with confusion, not understanding what is happening.
"Lord lungu, please get the child from your brother. I am sure he is tired. Welcome back home lord mike, lady Regina, lord mwape, lady mwape. And welcome home young lady.," Lady Lungu says as she looks at the beings in front of her.
The portal which was glowing a second ago has disappeared and the werewolves who had shifted turn back into their human forms after finding out the beings who came through the portal are no threat to the great mountains.
"Welcome home," Lord Lungu finally says as he takes his daughter from his brother. The moment he holds her, Lord lungu feels a surge of emotions. A few days ago he did not even know that he had another daughter.
Lord lungu starts heading back to his residence and everyone follows behind. The guards get the luggage the visitors have with them. As they leave the dark gardens the beings they pass look at them with curiosity.
"Where should we put her?" Lord lungu asks Lady Lungu after they reach their residence.
"Put her in my chambers," Sarah says.
Lord lungu nods and heads to Sarah's bedchambers and lays Bella on the bed.
"What is wrong with her?" King James who has been quiet the entire time asks lord mike as they sit in the living room.
Lord Mike sighs, his brow furrowed in worry. "Her magic is getting stronger with every passing second. It is taking most of her energy," he explains. "When we were trying to open the portal, her magic became even stronger. It's like opening the portal triggered something in her that made her magic go unstable."
Everyone in the room sits in silence for a moment, contemplating the gravity of the situation.
"I don't understand," lord lungu finally says, his voice filled with confusion. "How could opening a portal cause her magic to become unstable? When the girls came back they told me that they had managed to calm her magic down."
Lord Mike shakes his head, his expression troubled. "I am not sure," he admits. "But I fear that if we don't find a way to help her soon, she may lose control completely."
"We need to find a way to stabilize her magic," King James says, determined in his voice. "We can't let her suffer like this."
Lord Mike nods his resolve firm. "I agree," he said. "We need to do whatever it takes to help her."
"Then let me take her to the oval kingdom." King James says.
"No, you are not taking my daughter from me, I have just met her and I am not going to let anyone take her away from me. I will find a way for her to control her magic here,in the crystal kingdom." Lord lungu says. His wolf's green eyes can be seen in his eyes.
"She is not just your daughter, she is also my niece, the only child of my sister. She has the blood of the Bwalya royal bloodline, one of the most powerful dragons to ever exist. She is a dragon princess and she needs to be with her kind." King James says fire can be seen in his eyes as his dragon struggles to be let out.
"You both need to calm down, I might not be Belladonna's biological father but I have loved and cared for her all these years like she is mine. When Princess Rose left her with us, I made a promise to her that I would protect Belladonna with everything in me. So you two need to find a way to work together it is the only way we will be able to protect her." Lord Mike says.
King James and Lord Lungu stand facing each other, their eyes locked in a fierce battle of wills. The tension in the room is palpable as they argue over the fate of Belladonna.
King James, with his regal bearing and commanding presence, is determined to take Belladonna to the Oval Kingdom, where she belongs as a dragon princess. His eyes blazed with the fire of his dragon, eager to be unleashed.
On the other hand, Lord Lungu, with his wolf-like gaze and protective instincts, refused to let his daughter be taken away from him. He has only just met Belladonna and is not willing to let her go.
As the two men continue to argue, lord Mike cuts through the tension once again.
"Like I said earlier you both need to calm down," Lord Mike says, his tone firm but gentle. "Belladonna may be your biological daughter, Lord Lungu, but she is my responsibility. And King James, she may have royal blood running through her veins, but she has werewolf, witch, and vampire blood running through her. We can not decide on who she stays with based on which blood she carries. I brought her to the magical realm because I thought you guys would be able to help her, but I guess I was mistaken."
The words seem to have an effect on the two men, as they both take a step back and look at everyone in the common hall who have been quiet the whole time they were arguing.
After a moment of tense silence, King James finally breaks the quiet with a softer tone in his voice. "I understand your concerns, Lord Lungu," he begins. "But Belladonna is a dragon princess, and I am sure you have heard about Royal dragons and their magic. Belladonna has never shifted before, which means that her dragon self has never been free for twenty-one years. The dragon needs to shift from time to time because if they do not shift, their dragon self might want to take over their body forever."
Lord Lungu furrows his brow, clearly still unsure about the situation. "But it is the same thing for her wolf," he counters. "If she does not shift to her wolf form, her wolf will take over."
King James nods in understanding but maintains his stance. "I know, but it is easier to control a wolf than it is to control a dragon," he explains. "Dragons are powerful creatures with strong instincts. If Belladonna's dragon self is not allowed to shift and roam free, it could lead to disastrous consequences. You do not want to see the uncontrollable dragon because they can not be reasoned with. I do not want my niece to turn into something which will need to be put down." King James says
Lord lungu is about to say something when the maid who is responsible for taking care of BeBelladonnaomes in. "Sorry for the interruption my lord but the matter is urgent." The maid says to lord lungu.
"What is the matter tiTina Lord lungu asks.
"The lady has awakened my lord."
