Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 The First Chakra Trial

During his first attempt at practicing Chakra, Uchiha Hui felt a pang of worry. Although it was nearly impossible for a member of the Uchiha clan to fail in Chakra cultivation, individual talent still played a significant role. Chakra, being fundamental to a ninja's abilities, greatly influences a person's potential and growth.

Chakra is created by merging the energy in one's cells with the spirit. It is essential for all forms of ninjutsu, physical arts, and illusions. The amount of Chakra a ninja possesses determines their overall potential. In the original anime, talented individuals like Kakashi Hatake struggled with the Sharingan due to limited Chakra, while Naruto Uzumaki leveraged his boundless Chakra to defeat powerful opponents through sheer perseverance.

Minutes passed, and as Hui continued his efforts, he suddenly noticed a strange sensation in his eyes.

"Is this a sign of success?" Hui wondered aloud. "Or am I actually a genius?" He was unsure if his Chakra cultivation had been successful. The process had taken just five minutes, a time frame that might attract attention.

"No matter. I'll figure it out and ask Father tomorrow," he decided, closing his eyes once more to continue his practice.

A subtle warmth spread through his body, gradually transforming into a tangible energy. This was the flow of Chakra. However, the Chakra suddenly surged uncontrollably towards his brain, tightening his entire body.

"Boom!"

Despite having his eyes closed, Hui felt a sudden darkness and a heavy pressure on his chest. His blood seemed to rush towards his eyes, causing intense pain. He instinctively covered his eyes with his hands and rolled on the bed.

"Hiss…" The pain was excruciating.

After more than a minute of agony, Hui, drenched in sweat, opened his eyes to reveal an unexpected sight. His eyes, once ordinary, now bore a deep, rotating pattern of the Sharingan—a strikingly dark, abyss-like color.

The next morning, the forest at the edge of Konoha was almost deserted. Hui entered, equipped with a shuriken, a kunai, and a ninja bag.

He had intended to ask his father, Uchiha Hikaru, for advice on Chakra cultivation, but Hikaru had left unexpectedly, leaving behind only a note:

"Urgent task. Take care of yourself. Don't be late."

The note was accompanied by some money and a scroll detailing the Uchiha clan's unique shuriken throwing technique. Hikaru's absence suggested he would be gone for a while.

The scroll's throwing technique required the Sharingan, which Hui had activated the previous night. Normally, Hui would practice at the clan's training grounds, but using the Sharingan right after Chakra cultivation was unusual. Hui also sensed a difference in his Sharingan compared to others, though he couldn't pinpoint it.

Determined to test both his shuriken throwing and his new Sharingan, Hui positioned himself five meters from a large tree. He readied a shuriken and, with a burst of Chakra, threw it with precision. The shuriken flew true, embedding itself in the tree's trunk.

The impact caused the tree to shiver slightly. Moments later, a rustling in the canopy revealed a giant, colorful python descending from the tree. Its predatory eyes and glistening fangs added to the threat.

Hui's pupils dilated, and he prepared himself. With a wry smile, he muttered, "Looks like I've drawn the short straw. Picking a random tree sure came with its surprises."
