Third POV:
Athena sighed in boredom while watching the two warriors in front of her fight. One of them asked to be one of her champions and she simply told him to beat one of her current ones to get the position.
Truthfully, she wasn't even paying attention to that.
The group she sent to the Shapeless Isles have yet to retum, and she was starting to believe they'll never do.
Athena wondered how Medusa managed to get such a powerful beast to be her guard dog, and Perseus explanation made it even more confusing for her.
She didn't understand why an Elemental would go out of their way to help a small time goddess so much. Either way, she was in a tricky situation. No matter how busy he was, Hades would soon notice one of his cloaks being missing, and would find it easily should he try.
Since it was no doubt covered in the blood of her warriors now, Athena knew it would be traced back to her.
"Stop that racket now," she said firmly as she heard rumbling, assuming it was the warriors, but the sound didn't stop. "Can't you idiots-"
When Athena finally paid attention, she found that the warriors weren't even fighting, but trying to keep standing as the ground shook. She noticed the clouds had gone dark and covered the sky. "Is Lord Zeus coming?" She mumbled to no one as lightning flashed in the sky.
A figure appeared from the clouds, though it was not the King of Gods.
First POV: Zack.
I stared down the giant Olympic stadium where Athena was. Finding her wasn't hard since all I had to do was fly in the direction that the warriors always came from and look for the strongest Divine presence.
I also took the liberty of turning one of my hands into a metal rod and using it to attract some lightning. My new element made my body look like it was made of purple clouds with some electricity running over the surface.
The stadium was built on the side of a large mountain and had many statues of a woman placed around. There were also several buildings but they were placed far from the stadium itself.
The woman who looked like the statues was standing in a private booth. She was wearing something close to an amazonian armour and crown with her hair tied in a bun. She was the one who's the divine aura was coming from.
"What are you doing here, spirit of nature?" Athena asked- actually demanded an answer-while crossing her arms.
I didn't even reply. She wasn't worth one. I just raised my hand and swung down, sending several lightning bolts to the stadium. They weren't meant to hurt anyone, just scare the nearby humans into leaving, which they did after the lightning struck several empty areas.
No need to drag them into this. "Hey! Answer me!" Athena yelled as I flew closer to the ground.
I just raised my hands and shot a lightning bolt at her. Normally, no human would be able to react fast enough to defend against a lightning bolt, but Athena was a goddess.
In an instant and a flash of light, a golden shield and spear appeared in her hands.
She raised the shield and blocked the lightning bolt. The attack still managed to send her skidding a few feet back.
"Tch, now I get it. You're that guard dog, aren't you?" Athena lowered her shield enough to glare directly at me but not enough to leave her exposed to attack.
"What? Are you here on orders of that filthy snake?" She's really that pity isn't she? Well, if she wants me to talk "How does it feel, Athena?" I asked and she looked at me with confusion. "I mean knowing the fact you'll always be inferior. You tried so hard to make the world hate Medusa because you were jealous, and yet you never actually managed to take that beauty from her. It must be difficult to know for a fact that she's still the most beautiful goddess in Greek, doesn't it?"
I MAY have picked a few things from Gilgamesh. Athena screamed in rage and charged at me.
Third POV:
The goddess charges with speed no human would match and thrust her golden spear upwards, causing the Elemental's upper body to break apart. However, to her surprise, those parts stopped mid air and began to quickly retake shape.
When Zack's body reformed with his hands raised, his body ignited into fire and threw his hands downwards, covering the area in an explosion of pure fire. Athena jumped out of the fire and landed in the stands of the the stadium.
Other than some smoke marks, she was unharmed. She held her shield and spear high, ready for whatever attack came next.
Zack came out of the fire charging forward and Athena raised her shield to stop his fists from striking her down. Pushing him back to the air, the goddess jumped forward and kicked the Elemental away.
Zack simply flipped in the air and landed in the still burning battlefield. The goddess came in with her spear pointing downwards with the intent to stab him. However, Zack changed to his wind element and the spear simply passed to the ground, creating a large hole from the power that the goddess put into her attack.
The Elemental grabbed Athena's head from each side and turned to his newly acquired element. Lightning exploded from Zack's cloud body and that managed to draw a grunt from Athena, who used all her strength to pull her spear off the ground and slice off the hands holding her head. Athena jumped back just as Zack's hands reformed and glared at the Elemental.
Zack turned to his metal elemmt and charged forward, his arms turning to blades as Athena raised her shield.
However, just as Zack's blades were about to make contact, the metal on them suddenly turned gold similar to the weapons the goddess was using. The blade pierced the shield and stabbed the goddess in the shoulder. The goddess was caught off guard enough to give Zack the chance to use his other blade to completely slice off Athena's other arm from the shoulder.
The goddess screamed in pain and was sent back flying from a kick to her stomach. Zack held walked
towards the fallen goddess as blood poured out of her arm socket and slowly created a pool of blood around her.
However, as soon as he got close, a blue figure came in at great speed and sent Zack flying as it crashed to his side. The Elemental was struck with such strength that he was sent straight towards the mountain near the stadium.
Athena looked and saw another Greek God, Poseidon, standing where the Elemental used to be, his trident in hand.
Before either of them had a chance to speak to each other, the ground shook. "Annoying..." a voice echoed through the air.
Both Greek Gods looked and saw the mountain where
Zack crashed begin to take shape. Stone moved and transformed, the final form becoming more and more clear.
To their shock, it wasn't long before the mountain was turned to a giant stone version of the Elemental.
Glowing pure white eyes glared down at the two gods. "You gods act as if you own this world, but you're just so... ANNOYING!"
