Chapter 104 - Master Conri Bluemoon's insight.

The whole place fell silent, eyes wide in surprise and shock.

"Huh!" Lia gasped, her eyes fixed on Oasis.

Oasis bowed his head to pay respect. Most people who didn't know him were astonished.

Oasis was a whole realm ahead of Rogue, who was a year older, and everyone was amazed that he hadn't even used his mana to win the duel.

From Oasis's perspective, Rogue was just in the second layer of the Newborn Realm.

The difference between the Tabula-Rasa Realm and the Newborn Realm was vast.

Reaching the Tabula-Rasa Realm meant fewer but more significant layers, each split into major and minor layers: beginner, intermediate, and advanced, with each major layer having five minor layers.

The power difference between each minor layer was noticeable.

Oasis was at the Tabula-Rasa Realm, intermediate, 3rd layer.

Unlike other cultivators at the same level,

Oasis could fight and kill those in the advanced layer of the Tabula-Rasa Realm and even battle on equal footing with those at the peak level.

This duel against Rogue was almost like bullying the weak.

"Incredible! He didn't even break a sweat," one guest whispered.

"Is he really that strong?" another murmured.

"I can't believe it. How did he do that without using any mana?" a third person wondered aloud.

"Oasis is way stronger than when we entered Tir Na Nog," Zion thought, observing his junior brother's growth.

Elder Tyron announced Oasis as the winner, and despite some guests' dissatisfaction at not being able to gauge Oasis's true level, the banquet continued.

After enjoying the feast, the guests dispersed to their respective lodgings.

After the banquet, Sect Leader Conri accompanied Oasis to his residence, the Bluefang Garden.

"I realize I made you my disciple without your consent," Conri broke the silence between them.

"No, no, master. I appreciate it," Oasis replied quickly.

"Okay, okay. I'll get straight to the point," Conri said. "Your affinities are fire and wind, but there's also mist. Is that correct?"

"Master, it's fire, earth, wind, and water, and some I'm not sure about," Oasis explained.

"What on earth is he saying?" Conri thought, astonished. "How is it possible for an individual to have so many affinities?"

"Are you sure, Oasis?" he asked, needing confirmation.

"Yes, master. But due to my body constitution, I cannot use my water affinity; it becomes vapor when I use it," Oasis said.

!!!

"Did I hear this kid correctly? Isn't this the sign of someone with the True Yang Body?" Conri thought, intrigued.

"Is your body constitution the True Yang Body?" Conri asked to confirm his suspicion.

"Yes, master, it is," Oasis confirmed. "I have to tell him since maybe he can help me."

Sect Leader Conri was taken aback, realizing the extraordinary potential Oasis held.

"How is this even possible? What did we do to deserve such luck?" Conri thought.

"Master, do you know about the True Yang Body?" Oasis asked, curious about Conri's knowledge.

Conri explained that he had read extensively about various body constitutions but had never met anyone with a True Yang Body.

Despite common belief that individuals with this body could not use water-affinity techniques or magic, Conri denied it.

He explained that historically, most with the True Yang Body were rumored to only have a fire affinity.

In Oasis's case, his body used his water affinity to balance the yang energy due to its high yin content.

Conri suggested that Oasis might find a solution by integrating with a water- or ice-affinity mystic beast or by cultivating with someone who still had their primordial yin intact.

He assured Oasis he would help him find a strong water-affinity mystic beast, as Oasis preferred.

However, Conri mentioned that since Oasis was now part of the Bluemoon family, any alliance through a relationship had to be carefully considered.

This was exciting news for Oasis, giving him hope despite the challenges ahead.

Conri also promised to guide Oasis in his cultivation and help him with wind magic, as Conri himself had a wind affinity.

As they reached the garden, Oasis and Conri talked for hours, with Oasis making tea. Conri guided and understood Oasis, finding the experience rewarding.

During their conversation, Oasis's curiosity was piqued when Conri mentioned that upon reaching the Awakened Realm,

not only would their bloodline and soul realm be awakened, but also their grimoire for mages or their martial techniques for martial artists.

For both, their weapons would awaken, transferring suitable techniques to the user's consciousness.

For Oasis, a martial mage, this revelation left him wondering what would happen when he reached the Awakened Realm.

He was also curious about the formation of the sect, and his master's insights provided clarity.

The Bluemoon family's decision to form a sect under the territory's name was a strategic maneuver in response to potential political turmoil.

By choosing not to re-ally with the Evergreen family and remaining independent, the Bluemoon family asserted its autonomy.

This decision positioned the family as neutral or neutral-to-allied,

avoiding direct involvement in the conflict between the Evergreen-Lumina families and the Shadowfen-Stormcaller families, despite the latter being regarded as enemies.

Forming a sect and naming it after the territory marked a shift from a purely political and familial organization to a more structured and ideological entity.

The sect could serve multiple purposes for Lunaris beyond what was possible when it was controlled solely by the Bluemoon family.

Firstly, it provided a unified identity, consolidating the territory under a single ideological or spiritual banner, potentially strengthening internal unity and loyalty from the sub-families.

Secondly, it offered political leverage, creating a new form of influence and power within Lunaris that could be leveraged for future negotiations or conflicts.

Thirdly, it ensured control; by becoming the sect leader, the Bluemoon family maintained more control over the territory and its sub-families,

providing a means to manage dissent and maintain order without direct political involvement.

The impact on the sub-families was also significant.

These families, now integrated into the new sect, would be subject to the sect's doctrines and leadership,

helping to prevent revolts and maintain stability within the territory.

The formation of the sect offered these sub-families a new framework for organization and governance, aligning them under a shared ideology or purpose rather than just familial hierarchy.

The strategic position of not allying allowed the Bluemoon family to avoid direct confrontation with the rebelling families while still exerting control over their territory.

It also positioned them to potentially sway or negotiate with other factions or the Evergreen-Lumina families in the future from a position of ideological unity rather than purely political alliance.
