Chapter 46 - Belonging

Through the streets of Lunalith City, Oasis and Zane made their way to the Consano manor.

Both were wearing cloaks adorned with the emblem of a wolf gazing at the moon, signifying their allegiance to the Bluemoon family.

The Consano manor stood grand and inviting. As they approached, the medicinal garden came into view.

Rows of herbs and plants, each meticulously cared for, spread out before them, their vibrant colors and delicate fragrances a testament to the manor's dedication to the healing arts.

"Young Master Zane," a guard respectfully greeted them at the entrance, acknowledging Zane's presence with a nod.

They continued walking, taking in the serene beauty of the garden as they moved toward the main building.

Inside the manor, the atmosphere was tranquil yet bustling with activity. Alchemists and healers moved about, tending to their tasks with precision and care.

"Oasis, my boy!" a joyful voice rang out. Marina rushed over and enveloped him in a warm hug.

Oasis, feeling shy and a bit embarrassed at being treated like a child, returned the embrace, smiling.

"Sister Marina," he said, his voice filled with affection.

Marina then turned to Zane. "Young Master Zane," she greeted him formally.

"No, Sister Marina," Zane replied, shaking his head. "I consider Oasis my brother, so please call me little brother."

Marina smiled warmly at his request. "Father asked us to come to collect the pills," Zane spoke politely.

"Ah, of course," Marina responded. "Both of you, wait here. I'll be right back."

She disappeared briefly, then returned with trays filled with bottles of pills. Zane carefully collected them, storing the bottles in his bracelet.

"I'm happy to see you finally in good health," Marina said to Oasis, her voice filled with emotion.

"And soon you'll be going to the academy. You've grown up so fast. A year ago, you were just a scrawny boy, and now look at you."

Her eyes shone with pride and a touch of sadness. "Just take care of yourself, my child, and become stronger."

Oasis felt a lump in his throat at her words. He nodded, smiling reassuringly. "Don't worry, Sister," he said softly.

Marina patted his shoulder gently, her eyes misting over. "I'm proud of you," she whispered.

After a few moments of shared emotions, Oasis and Zane bid Marina farewell and left the Consano manor, their cloaks billowing behind them.

As they walked through Lunalith City, the streets, lined with traditional stone buildings and bustling market stalls, provided a lively contrast to the serene environment of the Consano manor.

"Zane, tell me, how strong are the great family leaders?" Oasis asked, his curiosity piqued.

"I'm not sure," Zane replied.

"But I know that all of them are in the Enlightened Realm. Father doesn't tell me his exact level, but only my elder brothers know."

"Oh, speaking of which, I've never seen your brothers. I've been staying here for the past two months," Oasis noted.

"My oldest brother is in seclusion training, but my other brother is at the academy," Zane explained.

"Ooh, that answers it," Oasis said, nodding.

The two continued their casual conversation until they reached the Bluemoon estate.

Upon entering the estate, Zane turned to Oasis. "Let me escort you to your new place since you won't be staying with me from now on," he said.

After walking for a few minutes, they arrived at the Bluefang Garden.

The place was beautiful and peaceful, a sanctuary within the estate.

A small lake with clear, sparkling water was crisscrossed by delicate wooden bridges, allowing the water to flow gently beneath.

The garden was filled with vibrant flowers and lush greenery, creating a tranquil atmosphere that was perfect for contemplation and relaxation.

In the midst of this natural beauty was a large, elegant building. Its architecture seamlessly integrating with the surrounding garden.

The building's exterior hinted at its spacious interior, suggesting both comfort and functionality.

Adjacent to the building was a training field, complete with various training equipment and dummies, offering a perfect space for rigorous practice.

"Behold, the Bluefang Garden," Zane announced with a smile. "I can't believe Father gave this place to you."

"If I knew it was this grand, I wouldn't have agreed," Oasis thought, feeling both honored and overwhelmed.

"i don't think even the elders of the family nor grand guests don't get a place like this."

"Use your token to open the barrier here," Zane said, gesturing towards the entrance of the garden.

Oasis took out the Golden token with the wolf emblem and held it up to the invisible barrier.

The air shimmered slightly, and a faint, magical hum resonated as the barrier recognized the token.

Slowly, the barrier dissolved, granting them access.

As they stepped inside, Oasis was struck by the serene beauty of the Bluefang Garden. The interior of the building was equally impressive.

They entered a spacious living area, decorated with elegant, wooden furniture and soft, ambient lighting from candles.

The room exuded warmth and comfort, inviting relaxation after a long day of training.

To the side, there was a well-stocked library, filled with tomes and scrolls. Shelves lined the walls, offering knowledge on various subjects.

A large wooden desk sat by a window, perfect for studying and research.

To the other side, there was a storage room, equipped with ample space to keep weapons, training gear, and personal belongings.

Upstairs..

The sleeping quarters were equally grand.

A large, comfortable bed was draped with luxurious linens, and the room had an aura of tranquility that promised restful sleep.

With a big open window having a grand view to the garden.

Another door led to the bathing room, a spacious area designed for relaxation and rejuvenation.

A large, intricately carved wooden tub dominated the room, surrounded by smooth stones and fragrant herbs.

The natural light from a small window illuminated the space, creating a serene and calming atmosphere.

"Welcome to your new home," Zane said, watching Oasis take in the surroundings.

"Yeah, yeah, you can leave now, young master Zane," Oasis said with a playful smirk.

"Ha ha ha," Zane laughed. "Alright, alright. I'll leave you to settle in."

As Zane departed, Oasis couldn't help but notice the richness of the mana in the air.

"The mana here is thick. Is there a mana-collecting array in this place?" he wondered.

Feeling a surge of determination, Oasis spoke aloud, "Time to cultivate."
