yawn
"Wow, I slept like a baby," Oasis said, stretching and yawning as he woke up.
He moved outside to the garden, inhaling the crisp morning air.
"Wow, this place is absolutely refreshing," he thought, feeling invigorated by the serene surroundings.
As Oasis stood in the garden, enjoying the tranquility, a figure suddenly appeared behind him in an instant.
The intruder launched a swift attack, but Oasis reacted quickly, blocking the strike.
"Well, well, vigilant, aren't we?" the figure said.
"Oh, Sir Lancelot, it's you," Oasis said, recognizing the man.
"Drop the formality; just call me Lancelot. If it wasn't for your master, I would have already died," Lancelot spoke warmly.
"I've been away for a month and just came back to the estate," Lancelot explained.
"I felt the array defense in the Bluefang Garden had been lifted, so I got curious. When I saw it was you, I had to surprise you."
"So, the Leader gave you 'Bluefang Garden', huh? That's great."
"The leader called me back to escort you and Zane to the academy."
"Prepare while I head to the estate great hall," Lancelot said as he began leaving, glancing around the garden.
"Hey Oasis, don't forget to activate the array when you leave," Lancelot reminded him.
"Wow, I don't know if it's because I'm used to him now, but he no longer feels scary like when I first saw him," Oasis thought as he headed back to his living space in the building.
As Lancelot walked towards the Bluemoon estate great hall, he mused,
"Damn, whenever I speak with that kid, it feels as if I'm talking to someone with decades of experience."
Lancelot arrived at the great hall, a grand chamber adorned with statues of majestic wolves, each exuding a sense of power and guardianship.
"Greetings, Master Bluemoon and Elder Tyron," Lancelot said, bowing respectfully.
Conri Bluemoon and Elder Tyron raised their hands in acknowledgment.
"Oh, Lancelot, you just got back," Conri Bluemoon remarked.
"Yes, Master," Lancelot replied. "I also passed by the Bluefang Garden. I see you gave it to Oasis."
"Yes, I had to give him a suitable space so he could feel at home," Conri responded. "The kid is talented and will be an asset to our family."
"I've been observing other disciples as I came here. It feels like they are not pleased by your decision," Lancelot mentioned.
"Don't worry about it. It's not like they will do anything to him. Let them be," Conri said dismissively.
"Lancelot, I called you back here to escort them to the academy today at noon," Conri continued.
"Once again, I'm sorry about the loss of your men at the Mossy Hollow battle."
"So I didn't want to assign you new guys. I want you to pick them yourself among the disciples and other guards at Lunalith. It's up to you," Conri added.
"Master, for now, I don't know, but I will see who to choose when I come back from the escort," Lancelot replied.
"Oh, and congratulations on your breakthrough, Lancelot,"
Conri said, noting that Lancelot had reached the second layer of the beginner stage of the Awakened Realm.
"I will go with them for this escort," Elder Tyron announced.
"What?!" Lancelot exclaimed in surprise.
"Yes, I will go with you and the boys to the academy," Elder Tyron confirmed.
"Gratitude, Elder," Lancelot said, bowing again.
Noon came, and as they prepared for the departure to Verdantial Academy in Luminaris City.
Elder Tyron addressed the group. "We shall use my carriage," he announced, his voice firm.
Elder Tyron's carriage, a pseudo-saint artifact, stood ready.
Four magnificent equinores, their coats shimmering with a faint magical glow, were mounted to the carriage.
As the four of them Oasis, Zane, Lancelot, and Elder Tyron prepared to leave, Lancelot spoke up.
"Elder Tyron, I will stay in the front to control the equinores."
"Don't worry. All of us will stay inside the carriage," Elder Tyron responded calmly. "I will control it from here."
The group settled into the luxurious interior of the carriage.
The runes inscribed within absorbed the surrounding mana, maintaining a warm, well-lit, and protective environment.
The carriage moved smoothly and fast, the equinores gliding along the path with an ethereal grace.
As night fell and darkness enveloped the land, the carriage continued its pace.
Inside, the atmosphere was serene, the runes casting a gentle glow and ensuring everyone remained comfortable and secure.
Breaking the silence, Oasis turned to Elder Tyron. "Old man, what realm are you at?" he asked, his curiosity evident.
"Oasis, quiet!" Lancelot interrupted quickly. "Don't mind him, Elder."
Elder Tyron chuckled, finding the exchange amusing.
"Ha ha ha, an interesting one," he said. "You are Oasis, right?" Elder Tyron continued, turning his gaze to the young man. "Take a guess."
"You must be in the Enlightened Realm," Oasis responded confidently.
Elder Tyron intrigued. "Why do you say so?"
"I have had my Divine Peak activated ever since we left Lunalith, and I couldn't perceive your level."
"From my experience, I cannot perceive those in the Enlightened Realm and above," Oasis answered calmly, his eyes meeting Elder Tyron's with a steady gaze.
Elder Tyron's thoughts raced.
"What is this brat talking about? It's been hours since we left Lunalith City."
"How can he maintain his Divine Peak for so long?"
"How strong is his spiritual energy? If he tried peeking at me, I would have noticed. This is unbelievable,"
he thought, masking his surprise and thinking oaisis's words as a bluff.
"Ha ha ha, no wonder Conri thinks highly of you," Elder Tyron said aloud.
"Let's assume you are speaking the truth..."
"What if I'm in the Awakened Realm or lower and just using a concealing technique or artifact to hide my level?" he challenged.
Oasis shook his head.
"That's out of the question."
"Judging from Lancelot's reaction and Master Bluemoon allowing you to be our escort and only you and Lancelot are our escorts."
"I don't think Master Bluemoon would permit it given the current state of the kingdom."
"This means you are of a higher realm than Lancelot."
"Also, the way you casually use Master Bluemoon's name suggests you are on par with him or in the same realm," Oasis explained.
Elder Tyron regarded Oasis with disbelief. "Is this brat possessed by the spirit of an old veteran who has lived for years?" he wondered silently.
"Ha ha ha, brat, I like you. You've earned it."
"I will tell you my realm. I am in the Enlightened Realm, Intermediate Layer," Elder Tyron revealed, his face lighting up with genuine amusement and respect for the young man.
