Chapter 26 - Love Is Crazy

The mansion was very luxurious and large, with three floors.

There was a grand living room with a high ceiling, a luxurious chandelier, and classy furniture like leather sofas, marble tables, and artworks.

The master suite, or main bedroom, was spacious, equipped with a walk-in closet, a king-sized bed, and an en-suite bathroom.

There was also a bar or wine room with a collection of high-quality drinks, complete with an area for wine tasting.

Behind the mansion, there was a large yard with a well-designed garden, a fountain, or an exclusive flower garden.

Between the mansion and the garden was a large swimming pool, complete with a jacuzzi, gazebo, and sunbathing area.

Lastly, there was also a basement that could be used for storage or a security bunker.

Amon was very satisfied with choosing the Mansion Summon Ring. This item didn't just function as storage but also as a living space.

And now he was lying in bed, his entire body covered by a blanket.

"Aaahh~," he groaned lazily.

His eyes were dull, dim, like a loser with no ambition.

"I know… I know it's wrong… I know I have to complete my mission… but, if the bed god has cursed me, there's nothing I can do."

There was no such thing as a bed god in this world. The bed god was just a figment of Amon's imagination. It never existed.

And what he meant by a curse was that he was trapped in his comfort zone.

"I'll get serious tomorrow." He had said that yesterday, and the day before that. On the first night he arrived here, he said it too.

The night turned into day. Amon woke up.

"Damn you, bed god! Your curse is really strong! I'll start getting serious tomorrow once the curse is lifted." He said that, just like any other lazy person.

Then, another day passed.

"Oh, great bed god, please release me from this curse." The lazy man began to pray before making another excuse. "Even after praying, the curse still hasn't been lifted. What can I do? I want to complete my mission, but as it is now, I can't do anything. Maybe tomorrow."

This guy was truly the definition of trash.

He was truly a manifestation of injustice itself.

Why did fate choose garbage like him to be transmigrated? And why did he have to possess the extraordinary Miracle Cube?

It was completely unfair!

Garbage like him should have been thrown into hell.

The place where Amon was staying was in a very quiet and remote forest. For an introvert like Amon, this place was like heaven. He could be alone in peace without having to care about anyone. It wasn't like when he was in the palace, where there were still maids, so he wasn't entirely alone; but here, he was alone.

That's what made Amon trapped in his comfort zone.

While Amon was still lazing around, in the Hampton residence, a man was raging like a madman after receiving a report that tore his heart apart.

"A kiss! Aaarrrggggghh! You said a kiss! Aaaaaarrggggghh! Impossible!" He screamed hysterically like a man who found his wife in bed with another man.

His screams were so loud that anyone who heard them trembled in fear. Even a servant standing behind the door of the room curled up into a ball.

"Impossible! Ariel would never do that! That cruel bastard must have threatened her! Damn you, Amon!"

Not satisfied with venting his anger just by shouting and screaming, he also punched and kicked, smashing and wrecking everything in his room.

His eyes bulged and turned red as if they were about to cry blood, while his teeth gritted as if trying to crush each other.

"Damn you, Amon! Damn you! I'll definitely kill you!"

This man was Theodore Hampton, someone who is considered a mosquito by Ariel and Amon.

Theodore had just received a report about what happened that night.

Even though he was nobody to Ariel, and even though Ariel only dealt with him for political reasons, he was insanely jealous upon hearing that Ariel had kissed Amon.

This man doesn't even deserve to be called a simp, it's more like a madman.

The door to the room suddenly opened as Theodore panted after his rage.

A man in his forties entered the room.

"What are you doing? Do you want to die?" Theodore spoke harshly, sitting on the floor in a disheveled state.

Even though Theodore was a nobleman, even a Duke, he was in no mood to maintain his dignity or etiquette right now.

But the man paid no heed to Theodore's anger and continued approaching him.

"Lord Hampton, I apologize for my rudeness in entering uninvited. But this is very important. I have information about that bastard Amon."

Hearing that, Theodore's previously squinting eyes due to anger now widened with curiosity.

"Lord Blythe, tell me more."

The man was a Marquess—a nobleman whose territory was on the border—named Cosmo Blythe.

"That deceitful bastard is in my territory. Somehow he's built a mansion there and has been in my land for several weeks now."

"Are you serious?"

"Of course. That's why, Lord Hampton, I want to make you an offer."

"Speak."

"You don't have to waste any effort or time dealing with this trash. Just leave it to me to clean up in your name."

It was quite an interesting offer. If he had killed Amon, then Lucerion would have taken revenge on him. But if it's Cosmo who kills Amon, then it's Cosmo who will be targeted.

"What do you want?"

In the world of politics, there's no such thing as free favors. Even though political reciprocation is often under scrutiny, in reality, it's still common. Theodore was well aware of this.

"I want to expand my territory, so I need your help in that war."

"Alright, if that's all, I can manage it. Besides, you've already reached level five and are also a descendant of the legendary Steel Saint, so I'm sure you can handle this."

"Thank you."

Meanwhile, Amon, the trash whose life was being targeted, was still sleeping soundly even though the sun was shining brightly.

"Ariel, let me squeeze your big boobs."

And now he was having a perverted dream.
