Katelynn gave her a grin, then opened the fridge and rummaged around. "Alright, let's see what we've got to work with…" She pulled out two rolls of cabbage, a couple of tomatoes, and a small pack of beef.
"Guess we're having pasta for lunch," she said, grabbing a bundle of spaghetti from the cabinet.
"If you're cooking, I'll eat anything," Lieselotte teased, leaning closer with a sly smile.
"Yeah, yeah. Less flirting, more vegetable washing," Katelynn said, giving Lieselotte a playful nudge between the shoulder blades.
She turned back to the fridge, pulling out an ice tray. "By the way… you want something fancy with lunch?"
Lieselotte watched as Katelynn cracked the ice into glasses. "You seriously had time to plan all this?" she asked, surprised by Katelynn's thoughtfulness.
