CHAPTER 1️⃣6️⃣
MARRIED TO THE MONSTER
Daren was about inserting the ring in her finger when someone shouted
"Stop", they all look at the person who said this and it turned out to be Lauren and Daren look at him confused while Elena look at him with happiness in her eyes.
"She is my girlfriend and we love each other" he said and was about walking towards them when Daren's father signal his guards to take him away which they walk towards him and carry him.
"How dare you come to disrupt my wedding" Daren shouted but Lauren care less, he was shouting till he was taken out completely.
After he has been taken out Daren's father told the priest to continue.
Daren immediately put the ring in her finger and she became sad, she took the ring with a shaky hand and inserted it in his finger.
"I now pronounce you as husband and wife" the priest said and Elena ran out crying, Daren smirk to himself.
Elena's mother ran out and met her bending and crying.
"I think I have done what you and Dad want, you made me marry that monster, I will never forgive you both for this" she said and left her.
Daren came out with his family and he entered his car waiting for his bride while his family enter another car.
Elena came later and enter reluctantly and then the driver drove off to his place.
Elena's mother felt sad for this but she believes she will be alright, that Daren will treat her right.

Linda was really happy that she finally got what she wanted which made her really happy, she took her phone and call Gael to know if he had gotten to his place and he replied that he has gotten home.
"Okay bye dear, I love you" she said but Gael said nothing and he hang up the call. It seems weird to him to say those three words.
He sat on the bed and Carlos ask him who he was talking to but he said it is a new friend he met and he let him be.
Carlos felt the urge to call Evelyn and he did so.
"Hello pretty, how are you doing?"
"I am good" she replied.
"What about Naomi, how is she now? " he asked
"She is still the same, she has just been crying and refuse to eat"
"I understand she must be really heartbroken, I hope Gael regains his memory quickly" he said and she agreed to that.
After speaking for a little more they hang up the call.

They both got to the mansion and the door was opened for them to come out and Daren came out but Elena was hesitant in coming out, Daren went into the house leaving her there.
"Such a cruel being, I am really sad getting married to him" she said then came out and she went in wit her gown flowing at her back.
Lauren got back to the office and he became sad and angry that he did not confess his love to her and make her his girlfriend, he never saw this coming at all. It came as a shock to every staff in his company.
Elena got upstairs then went into a room and she began undressing then Daren came out from an inner room and on seeing him she covered her body.
"Why are you covering your body for your husband?" He asked
"Husband my foot, I will never accept you as my husband, I hate you with every vein in me" she said and storm out, Daren just stare at her coldly as she leaves.
She went to the living room and sat down and was clenching her fist in anger.
Kara called her and she pick up.
"Hello babe, how is it, is he treating you well?" She asked.
"I don't care how he treat me, I just want to get out of this Godforsaken marriage" she said angrily.
"Don't worry, I am sure this is for the better, you will grow to love him"
"Just let me be if you don't have anything good to say" she said then hang up the call angrily.

The next day in school, Naomi got to the lecture room and saw Gael sitting at the back then she look at him but he just tare at her like she is a stranger.
This made her sad and she sat down sadly, she wanted to cry but she held it back.
Linda entered after some minutes and as she saw Gael she ran to him and hug him and he let her do her thing.
"I miss you all night my love" she said and Gael just nodded.
Hearing what Linda said, Naomi felt really sad and she did not know when she began crying, Linda saw this and she smirk to herself.
"Exactly what I want" she said to herself then sat beside Gael then held his hand.
Carlos entered into the room and saw Linda holding hands with Gael and he went there angrily and draw Linda away from him.
"How dare you get close to him" he said angrily and Linda fake sadness.
"Just let her be, what is wrong with what she is doing, she is my girlfriend" Gael said and Carlos laugh to himself.
"So that is what she told you, your girlfriend is there crying and sad but you are here with another girl, a girl you dislike and won't want her near you" Carlos said angrily.
"Just let her be, I don't know what you are talking about"
"Oh I can see you have lost it completely" Carlos said angrily and storm out.
Gael sat back with Linda holding his hand again.
Carlos went to where Naomi is and start consoling her.
"How could he choose Linda of all people, I am sure this is what he really wanted, he is just using his memory loss as an excuse" she said sadly.
"I am sure Gael is not in his right senses that is why he is still with her, just don't give up on him please, he will come back to you soon, fight for your love" Carlos sad and left there.
She began thinking about what Carlos said and then she cleaned her eyes and was determined to get Gael back.
She got back to class and went to Gael.
"Hi" she said
"Hello" Gael answered.
"I am Naomi, I would like to be your friend" she said and Gael recognize her as the girl in the hospital.
"Okay no problem" he said and she push Linda away and sat beside him.
Linda seeing this wanted to hit her but the cold glare she gave to her made her stop.
Gael saw this but said nothing.
Linda walk away angrily later.
Naomi move close to Gael and they began talking as friends and Gael find her interesting.

Elena was in the living room watching a programme when Daren came down and seeing him she smirk.
He sat beside her and she took the remote and change the channel.
"Don't you see I am watching a programme?" She asked angrily.
"I want to watch a football match" he replied coldly.
"Give me the remote" she said.
"Dare me and change the channel and you will hate me the more" he said coldly dropping the remote and Naomi stood up angrily ad went upstairs.
He feels so happy seeing that she still fear him and he decided to use it to his own advantage.

Gael and Naomi were walking together after lecture when he began seeing blurry images in his head and he held his head in pain and suddenly he fell down and fainted, Naomi seeing this rush to him.
