CHAPTER 2️⃣0️⃣
BECOMING SOFT
They both fall and in the process their lips met and their eyes widened and Elena quickly stood up from him, she took the file up and put it on his desk and then she rush out of his office.
Daren also stood up later then he dust himself and went to do what he wanted to do then he went back to his office to continue his work.
Elena got to her office and began regretting why she went to his office, she continue her work but her mind could not leave the kiss.
She could not know the way she will approach Daren anymore.
Daren did not think about the kiss at all, he was just putting on his usual cold face.
Kara call Elena and she told her about the kiss.
"Oh girl that is a start, you will fall for him soon"
"I can never fall for that monster, what happened was just a mistake between us so stop giving yourself false hope" she said.
"Okay we shall see about that" she said and cut the call.
It was lunch time and Elena went out of her office to eat lunch and just then Daren also came out and as she saw him she went back into her office.
Daren not minding her left to where he will eat lunch and after a while Elena also came out then she went with Lydia to eat lunch.

The next day at the lecture room, Naomi and Evelyn were talking about the good time with their lovers and they were both laughing about it and someone whispered into Naomi's ear
"I can imagine the way you were moaning so loud" Gael said which make Evelyn laugh so hard, Naomi turn to Gael and glare at him so hard but he did not mind.
"I love you babe" he said and peck her then went to his seat.
Seeing the glare Naomi was giving her, Evelyn stop laughing and she compose herself.
Just then, the invigilators came in and exam started and they all started writing except for the bad boys in the class, who don't know what to write.
The exam lasted for two hours but they were not allowed to use up to two hours.
Around 4pm in the evening, the exam ended and they all went back home to prepare for the next one.
As they were going, Gael made to hold Naomi but she did not allow him.
"I am sorry babe, I shouldn't have said that"
"You let this naughty girl made fun of me" she said referring to Evelyn.
"It is okay babe, you should know we are just joking around" he said to her and she glare at him then draw his two cheeks.
"Don't you ever use that to joke around, it hurt" she said
"I am sorry" he said and kiss her.
Evelyn and Carlos left them there and they both held hands and began walking.
After devouring each other lips for some minutes, they broke the kiss and it was then they notice Evelyn and Carlos has left them.
"Damn those two, so they couldn't wait for us" Gael said.
"Let's just go" Naomi said and they both left there also.
Naomi got back to her place and couldn't find Evelyn and same with Gael, he believe they have both gone out for a date.
He shower then he ate and began reading the next paper.
Naomi feeling bored at home went to Gael's place.
She got there and knock the door then he ope the door for her and she entered with her book in her hand then they both sat down and continue reading.
Evelyn and Carlos went to different places enjoying themselves and later by 6pm they went back to read for the next exam.
Evelyn got to her place as couldn't find Naomi then she assume she will be at Gael's place.
Carlos got to his place and saw Naomi and Gael making out, as they saw him they stop what they were doing then Naomi stood up and left.

Elena and Daren got home later then Daren called her.
"Don't think the kiss is something, it was just a mistake, so anything you are thinking in your head will not work"
"Do you think I will ever love a guy like you, I will have to brush my teeth for like 15 times, so as to take away your dirty smell" she said and Daren glare hard at her.
"How dare you talk to me in such a manner" he flared up.
"Don't you even try to control me, this is a new Elena and not the old one, get that into your skull" she said and went to her room.
Daren sat back wondering how she became bold all of a sudden.
He could see his plan failing even before it started, he went into the kitchen and made some light food then he ate his own and keep Elena's own.
Wondering what he is doing in the kitchen, well he is a good cook it is just that he is always lazy when it comes to cooking.
After he finish eating he went to his room.
Elena call Kara and told her what happened between them and Kara could not help but laugh.
"You need to see the surprise on his face when I did that" Elena said.
"You did good, now he will know his place and never control you again"
"Yes darling" she replied and after a while they cut the call.
Daren wondered why he is becoming soft, why he is letting Elena off the hook, if it was to be another lady he knows what he would have done to her but he could not do anything to Elena.
He shrug off the thought later and sleep.
Elena got back down and could perceive a sweet scent so she went into the kitchen and she open the pot, the scent she perceive there was so good that she couldn't wait to eat the food.
She took a plate and dish the food in it and then she went to eat.
She found the food so delicious as she was eating it.
"Don't tell me it is Daren tht prepare this delicious meal, it cannot be him, he ordered it, but what is it doing in a pot" she wondered but shrugged off the thought later.

It has been a week now and they just finished their exam, they all began waiting for their result.
Carlos miss his family and he began packing his things to visit his family, same with the others.
"I will miss you so much" Evelyn said to him.
"Same here, you came come to visit" he replied her.
"Where do you stay?" She asked and he told her.
"So we live close to each other, that is great I will be seeing you often" she said happily as Carlos nodded.
Gael and Naomi are far away from each other and they were both sad.
They were all standing when Carlos' driver arrive and he bade them goodbye and went into the car with Evelyn.
Naomi and Gael later left also.

During the one week, Daren found himself getting so soft and even to some of his employees and he wondered what is happening, he thought it was normal but after the way he talk to one of his employees he know this is not normal.
