CHAPTER 2️⃣
SHOCK
Daren got to he company and he got in then his staffs greet him but he did not respond as usual.
He walked into his office angrily and as he got in he called his Personal Assistant.
Immediately he is in his office.
As soon as he got in Daren spoke up.
"Who dare seize my goods?" He thundered.
Then his PA told him everything.
He immediately dismiss the PA and he also went out of the office then he got into his car and drove to the location.

The next day, Elena woke up and went into the kitchen to make breakfast for the family.
After making the breakfast she went back into her room to take her bath.
After taking her bath she dress up then she took her laptop to check her mail.
She scroll to the mail to check if there is any company who have accepted her application.
As she was scrolling she saw three companies male.
She opened one of them and it says.
*Miss Elena, your application have been accepted, you can come around by Monday to our company for an interview*
The message read and she became happy for that.
She open the remaining two and they both accepted her also.
Thank God it is different day she is going for the interviews.
She need to go for one the next day and the other by Tuesday and this make her happy.

Daren got to the location where his goods was delayed and as he got there he saw some guards standing close to the border.
He move towards them and as they saw him they bow for him.
"What can we help you with sir? " one of them asked.
"Who dare delay my goods" he said angrily.
"We are sorry sir, we did not know it is your goods" they both said and bow.
"This will teach you a lesson not to disrespect me or mess with my things" Daren said then he move close to one of them and he punch him which made him fall and he began bleeding.
The other became afraid but there is nothing he could do.
Daren move close to him and then he punch him also then he move towards his goods to check if it is intact ad seeing that it is he called one of the guards with him to carry it to his car.
The guard did as they were told and they drove away from there.
After he left the guards stood up and touch their nose seeing themselves bleeding.
They were both in pain but they ignore that and continue their work.
Daren got back to the office and he told his PA to make sure the goods are well arranged and taken to where it should be taken to.
The PA nodded and left to do what he was told to do.
Daren then sat down to start working.

The family all woke up later and they all went to do their different things.
Elena was in her room also and after checking the mails she switch off her laptop and went downstairs.
She got down ad met everyone awake and she greet them all.
After this she went to sit on the couch operating her phone and waiting for them all to be done before she serve the food.
After an hour, they were all done and she went into the kitchen to serve the food.
After she was done serving they all went to eat.
As they were eating her father said to her
"Elena, how far about your search for job, how is it going?" He asked.
"Well it is going fine, I already have three companies who want me to come for an interview at their place"
"Wow that is good, make sure you do well at the interviews and choose the best company out of them all" her father advised.
"Yes Dad, I will" she said and they continue eating.
They were done eating and they all went to their work except for the young ones why remain at home because they are on holiday.
Elena also went into her room and she began picking the cloth to wear for the first interview tomorrow.
She ironed the cloth after choosing the one she will wear and she keep it in a safe place.

Daren was still working when his PA enter.
"It is all done boss" he said bowing.
"What is my schedule for today?" He asked in his usual cold voice then he told him his schedule.
"Okay, you can go" he said and he went out.
Daren then call his other companies to know how the work is being going over there and he was satisfied the work is going well.
Daren was later do busy that he barely have time for himself.
After working for hours non stop he later left for home.
He was still driving when he almost hit a lady.

Elena went out of the house and decided to take a tour around.
She was walking, looking around when a car suddenly wanted to hit her and she flinch and quickly went out of the way.
The car stop and Daren got out of the car.
"Can't you just watch you are going to?" He asked coldly.
"You are the one who is driving recklessly" Elena said.
"How dare you talk back at me?"
"Who are you, yes you are Daren Cole but I don't care all I know is that you are the one at fault and you are to apologise"
"You have so much guts and I will make sure you regret it" he said to her.
"What can a toothless dog like you do to me?" She said
"Well that toothless dog can bite you, you are lucky I don't hit woman" he said then got into his car and drove away.
"So much arrogance" she said and continue her walk.
After some hours she went back home and she went to her room.
She took her laptop and did some things on it and after she went down to prepare dinner but she saw her elder sister doing it already.
"You should have let me do it" she said after moving to her.
"No need of you stressing yourself, you have been doing it since, so let me do it this once, just go and rest" Mia replied.
Mia is her elder sister whom she went to meet in the kitchen.
Elena seeing that she went to the living room waiting with the others for dinner to be ready.
In few minutes dinner was ready and they all went to eat and sleep.

Daren got home fuming in anger.
"How dare she talk to me in that manner, I am sure she is not aware of who I am if not she wouldn't dare" he said angrily and he began venting his anger on the maids.
He fired some for just slight mistakes and he punish some.
He was so angry that the other maids avoid him totally.
He got into his room later and slept off angrily without eating anything.

The next day, Elena woke up early in the morning and she went to make a light breakfast for everyone and after doing that she went to take her bath and prepare for the interview.
She got dressed in a minute and she took her bag then she went out and board a cab to the company.
She got to the company then she paid the cab man and went in.
As she got in she met many others who came for an interview also and she became afraid if she will be chosen.
She sat down anyway and wait for her turn.
When it was her turn she went in and she was asked some few questions then she was told she will be get back to so she left the company and went back home.
She got home and she went into her room and she change her cloth.
After she was done she got down to eat her breakfast also.
After eating she began working on her laptop since she is the only one at home and she feels bored.
The rest have gone to their various places while the young ones have gone to their friends place.
She was working when she remember Carlos and call him.
"Hello sis" Carlos said as he pick the call.
"Hi dear, how is school?" She asked.
"School is really stressful but I am managing"
"That is good, just endure it and you will be done in no time" she said to him.
"Okay sis, how about the others?" He asked.
"They are all good" she replied.
"Okay sis, my regards to them, I miss you all"
"Same here, okay bye, take care of yourself" she said and hang up.

Monday came real quick and she went for the next interview and after the interview same thing was told to her.
She went back home to prepare for the last interview.
She got home and she decided to change her cloth so she took another cloth and she ironed it and folded it neatly and keep it in her wardrobe.
After that she went down and did some other things.

The next day, she took her bath and dress up and she got down and then her parents bless her and she went out and board a cab to the company.
She got there and she went into the company, she met many people there also waiting to be interviewed.
It seems she is the last person there.
After the rest have been interviewed she was called in later.
She stood up and went towards the door and she open it and enter then as she enter whom she saw shock her.
