Banicki Gunworks is, or was, nestled into the woods west of the town center. That's an hour's walk along Route 66, but since the day isn't too cold, you elect to range through fields and farmland. That will let you avoid casual observation while gaining greater familiarity with the area. You don't see any more Garou glyphs or other signs that you've left the Map, but as you trundle through the woods, you suddenly come upon a chain-link fence. Troubling. You circle around the fence to the north, cutting through muddy fields until you're back under tree cover, and then return to the road.
The gun store is a low concrete bunker that might have started life as an auto garage. It's closed, locked down, and shuttered. A few minutes spent exploring the cold mud and cracked asphalt around the store reveal only broken, rusted tools and a few shell casings.
You can see a few ways inside. The combination lock is of excellent quality and you have no idea how to open it, but the chain it's attached to looks rusted. You might be able to bash it open. Or you could try propping open the garage door, or wiggling through a window. The main problem is road traffic. You've kept out of sight so far, but a driver might notice you screwing around. The intact lock means someone watches this place, and you don't want someone calling the cops.
I examine the garage door. How exactly could I open it?
I smash the rusty chain off the front door.
I shapeshift into my glabro near-human form and smash the lock.
I wiggle inside through one of the high narrow windows.
I change into my lupus form; it'll be easier to wiggle through a window if I'm a little smaller.
