You know that you still can't rip a chain in half, even if you dared consider your crinos war form. Fortunately, the deserted parking lot contains an abandoned hammer and a roll pin punch. You get into position, then grit your teeth as your body elongates and your toe bones break and re-knit inside your tall boots. No traffic right now: time to get to work.
Unfortunately, the chain proves unexpectedly tough. You hammer away, denting the metal and showering your tall boots with flakes of rust, but it takes more than ten minutes of work before you manage to snap a link. But once it goes, you're able to slide the chain out from around the front door, then step inside. You peer at the road again and notice a car slowing down. They speed off again, but you don't want to linger here.
