[A/N: Sorry for the break I took. Just need to get out of a block]
"Where the hell are these things," Wally said while running through the forest
Unlike the others who were still making their way to their challenges, Wally had already arrived in his area but was having difficulty finding them.
"Like seriously..."
While Wally was checking behind a tree he heard the sound of rustling behind him, but by the time he turned around an arrow was a few inches from his face.
"Shit!"
Barely dodging the arrow Wally wiped the blood from his cheek as he looked in the direction the arrow came from.
Before he could see anything a volley of arrows came flying at him. Now ready he could easily dodge them but his body began to feel heavy.
Remembering his wound he touched his cheek and saw his blood was mixed with a purple fluid.
"Poison? I have to finish this fast," Wally was running towards the direction of the arrows.
Passing through some trees his surroundings completely changed into a swamp, and in front of him were seven half-human half-snake creatures all pointing bows and arrows at him.
"Well this is a great welcome party," Wally joked taking out his daggers
Dashing at the Naga troops he was able to dodge their arrows and close the distance. Clenching his blade he stabbed the first Naga in the chest causing it to scream out in pain before dropping to the floor.
"Woah...cut through it like butter," Wally said looking down at his dagger
Seeing their comrade killed the Nagas released a screak of anger before they all began spitting a purple mist in the air.
Backing up to get out of the mist Wally looked at the Nagas who used it to hide from him.
(Damn this really won't be easy) Wally thought
Thinking of an idea Wally began running around the purple mist. As he did it began spinning in his direction, until it turned into a pillar of smoke.
Backing away he watched the naga rush out of the mist believing they were in danger.
"Got ya!" Wally said rushing to each of them and cutting them down as they exited the mist
With a grin, Wally was about to continue through the swamp when he fell down to his knees.
Looking down at his hands Wally saw that his veins were now a deep purple and his vision ha beginning to become hazy.
"G...Gotta get..the poison," Wally said closing his eyes and focusing on his body
Trying to focus on the part filled with poison he slowed down the blood flow while trying to pump the poison out of his body. While he did but was struggling he felt the poison suddenly begin to disappear and strength return to his body.
Opening his eyes he saw the suit glowing a bright white color and the core in the center spinning rapidly.
"...Looks like I will have to thank Virgil when I see him," Wally sighed slowly regaining his strength.
....
"I...I can't stop them," Raven said barely holding herself up with her staff looking at the army of humanoid tigers and a giant one in the back sitting on a throne
"I told you human you can never get through my army," the Tiger King laughed
20 minutes earlier...
"Is this temple where I'm supposed to go?" Raven asked herself looking at a giant temple with a carving of a tiger as the entrance
Taking a deep breath she began making her way inside the temple. At first, it was uneventful and she hadn't run into a single enemy but as he got deeper a sense of dread began to creep upon her.
After walking through the long hall he arrived at an intersection with two paths ahead of her. Infront of each path was a stone statue of a humanoid tiger warrior holding a spear.
"Are these the enemies...but they are stone," Raven said slowly approving them
Going to the left she was about to pass the statue when its eyes began glowing orange and it pointed its spear at Raven's head.
"So they move if I get to close, then I will deal with hem from a distance," Raven said backing up
Holding out her hand he was about to release a raven made from darkness but one of her red orbs began glowing at the raven and changed to one made from fire.
"This is what Virgil meant...It really does change my magic,"
Releasing the raven is flew at the statue. As the raven got closer the statue tried to cut it with its spear but the raven moved around and collided with the statue's head causing a small explosion that blew off the status head, and dropped it to the ground.
"That was much easier than I thought," Raven said making her way to the now clear hall
But before she could even reach the wall the other state activated and dashed at her with its spear pointed at her.
Flying back Raven dodged the spear and fired another fire raven at the statue. But this time the statue was not affected by the explosion and continued at her.
"W-what?"
Flying into the sky Raven created a tentacle made from water to hold down the statue. With it held down she made a sphere out of lightning and launched it at the statue.
As the lightning mixed with the water, it created a large shock that caused half of the status body to crumble away before the rest fell to the floor.
Floating down Raven looked at the two statues and thought for a moment.
"It's either each status is resistant to a different magic or it adapted to my fire magic. If its the latter then I won't be able to stop a whole army of them I only have so many elements,"
"Maybe this won't be as easy as I assumed it to be," Raven sighed making her way through the left hallway.
