Waking up to the sound of noises, I asked grumpily"who is disturbing me?".
I was still drowsy when I felt someone suddenly carrying me up, shocked my sleepiness disappeared in an instant as i use my divine sense to look at my kidnapers. Using divine sense I saw the scene of dark long handed monkey's carrying me to were I guessed is their territory. "Damn! Just my luck, night crawlers", I thought. Night crawlers are a weak species that only hunt at night, they use the darkness to their advantage and sneak up on prey's , they also have the habit of gathering their prey's stuff. The night crawlers are actually a weak branch of the legendary beast the moon reaching monkey , it is said that the moon reaching monkey when at it's peak was able to reach out and gasp the moon with their hands.
Realizing how dangerous the situation is he quickly use his divine sense to look at the cultivation of the monkeys.
"One peak body tempering realm, two eight stage body tempering realm and three fifth stage body tempering realm, that makes it a total of six monkeys". I summarized.
"I wonder where were you guys before I met that lion", I complain grumpily.
"I could have had no problem dealing with you guys if not for my..." My thoughts trailed off as I noticed with my divine sense that my body is already healed, from my internal injuries to my broken bones everything is healed even my Qi reserves is full and I could swear I didn't cultivate before I slept. " I guess the only thing that can explain this is my unique physique, which makes dealing with these folks a lot easier", i thought happily.
Scanning around with my divine sense I located my katana in the hands of the fifth stage body tempering realm monkey. Acting instantly I raised my body and slap the head of the other fifth stage body tempering monkey causing it to explode like a watermelon. Although surprised at my strength I didn't waste time thinking of it as others have noticed me. Stabilizing myself I dashed towards the monkey holding my blades as I punch it in the face before it was able to react causing it to explode like the first one." Two down, four more to go", I said as I unsheathe my katana and stared intently at the remaining monkeys.
The peak body tempering realm stage monkey shrieks at the other monkeys and judging from their next move it's told them to attack.
The remaining fifth stage monkey charge towards me as the eighth stage monkey blends and hides into the darkness.
Spreading my divine sense to try and locate it, I twisted my body to the side to dodge the fifth stage monkey attack, after dodging I sliced it's head off in a smooth motion.
After killing the fifth stage monkey I have already found the eighth stage monkey but I decided to ignore it and expose a flaw luring It to attack me, despite that it still remain hidden.
I decided to attack the peak stage monkey paying little attention to the other one.
Rushing towards the monkey I raised my blade above my head as I swrong down at it, the monkey dodge and clawed at my side leaving a not soo deep claw Mark, grimacing in pain I thought "note yourself never go for an over head swing and your powerful physique saves you once again".
At this moment the monkey hiding in the darkness finally appeared behind me swinging it's sharp nails towards my neck, in a smooth motion I bend down and swing my blade around slicing it from the waist instantly killing it.
Turning around I looked at the last surviving monkey with my blade dripping with monkey blood, the monkey visibly shivered in fright as it looked at my eyes glowing purple in dark.
Not wanting to waste anymore time I dashed to the monkey and engage in a short battle with it before killing it off.
Calming down I looked around at the corpses of the monkeys before retrieving my stuff that the monkey carried.
"Damn is this how the forest is, I have to be more careful later on because this time I got lucky, what if the monkey's had killed me while I was asleep, I wouldn't even know how I died", I thought as I shivered in fright.
Calming down I analysed the whole battle including the one with the lion.
"Am at peak tenth stage body tempering realm, a step away from foundation establishing realm, still yet I was able to kill a third stage foundation establishing realm beast by Luck, if I had battle experience at most it would have ended as a draw, so I can kill a second stage foundation establishing realm expert and fight to a draw with a third stage well this are just my speculations".
"Now the case with the monkeys, I should really be careful even when I sleep. The monkey was carrying me in that direction which should be their territory, their must be a lot of monkeys there, well I guess I have found were I will train this night" I smiled evily.
Some time later after going in that direction, my divine sense saw a lot of night crawler monkeys" one, two...ten.... fifteen and twenty four monkeys with the highest a couple of peak stage body tempering realm" i thought after scanning around and confirming that their is noting I missed.
"Now they are two was I can go about this first I kill them all one after the other stealthily which will accomplish the goal of killing them but not the goal of training, the second ways is to charge in recklessly and fight them all at once effectively training together" I analyzed.
"Well the first option beat the purpose of coming here so I decided to go with the second one, charge in recklessly". I said as I unsheathe my katana while simultaneously appearing and killing one loudly to draw the remaining attention. Smiling evily as my eyes glow purple with killing intent and excitement in it I charge towards the rest, soon the cries of the monkeys rang out.
Half an hour later, alen could seen dragging his tried and injured body towards what seems to be the main cave leaving behind an area filled with corpses, reaching the very depths he sat down and cultivated to heal his injuries which were already being healed by his physique.
After healing he decided to spend the rest of the night in this cave. As his divine sense did a scan of the place he saw a peculiar looking fruit among the other junks the monkeys have gathered in a corner of the cave,the fruit has a white jade like color to it.standing up, he walked up to it and took a closer look before finally recognizing it.
"My God is that a white jade fruit" I said shocked at what I just discovered.
"The white jade fruit is a heavenly treasure which is said to be able to increase someone's cultivation below the the peak foundation establishing realm by two small stages or can be used to breakthrough from the body tempering realm to the foundation establishing realm or the peak foundation establishing realm to the core formation realm".
This is something that came at the right time as I am at the peak body tempering realm and can breakthrough anytime.
