Kazuo and Amélie leisurely walked down Rue de Rivoli with their steps blending into the busy city sounds. The warm sun draped long shadows over the street, reflecting off the modern glass buildings that stood tall among the old architecture.
"So, who's this contact of yours?" Kazuo asked, hands shoved deep in his pockets.
A mischievous grin spread across Amélie's face as her eyes playfully peeked out from behind her sunglasses. "You remember Luc, right? From Channel 9?"
"That guy? Thought he got canned for that story on the Mayor's sex bots."
"He did. Now he's running an underground news network. Got some serious dirt on half the government."
"No shit. And he's gonna help us?"
