In the Eastern region of the kingdom, near the South, the two villagers arrived in the village with the group of refugees they had picked up from the forest. Among them, Bennett, who had been knocked unconscious by one of the villagers, was still unaware of his surroundings. But as the group crossed into the village, he stirred, the commotion and clatter of their arrival rousing him from his enforced slumber.
Coming to his senses, Bennett found his hands bound, and he was swiftly led into the barn where Hermes and Daniil were also being held.
The villagers were prepared to release the trio once it was proven that they were not in league with the demons. But, tragically, the trio had made a critical error in not disposing of the body of the slain man, whose presence now cast a grim shadow over their fate.
