Chapter 10 - Misunderstood

Second period arrived and the mood was still depressing. Renji went back to his room and all of the stares of his classmates were as menacing as before. Not good as usual. Even more intense now that he was scolded with a case of cheating. It was a misunderstanding on his part but it was not for them. Making him sigh in disappointment.

Some students talked oh his back again. "Hey, he is the worst, he was a welp in basketball and also a cheater in test. Well, what could be worst?" asked one female student who's beauty exceeds her peers. "Well, the worst one is a pervert!" Her classmate on her side shouted. All of them chuckled. Enjoying the laughingstock of their room.

'Pervert? Damn this is getting out of hand. The talks might evolve to a more depressing one! This is unfair!' Renji almost popped a vein on his forehead. Almost wanted to slap her, but it would cause more trouble. Well, moving on, he passed her by. Like a passing bubble that popped as soon as it was made.

Renji did not mind them and he went to his seat. Having the same treatment did not caused him to get agitated that much, just very, very, agitated. He wanted to kick her in the face. Though it will cause more problem as it already was.

He immediately went to his seat and sighed. Wanted to let out his frustrations and anger into his notes. He grabbed the most special note he has and it was called "Basketball Routine". More like a note that was all about basketball. Ever since his years from his Kaito High school years. An evidently precious and has sentimental value.

He immediately remembered, he needed to make a practice routine on where to improve first. He write notes on the spare notebook and was in thoughts. It was his anger control method or a venting routine and that was to make notes.

He was weak overall and still couldn't be a proper prodigy. But he was thinking, he was not that bad at all. He could rebound and dunk, shoot sometimes and primarily unlocked his memories of being a defender. Not bad not bad, but still it was not enough to beat Kevin. Even Jin was a far fetched goal right now.

While he was writing, someone walked towards him and Renji noticed it. He grabbed his notes and then he was laughed as he read it. Aizawa was concerned as he knew that Renji was a bad boy. Sighing that they would get beaten up.

"Hey! You want to become a basketball player? I think it is a stupid choice to play clown!" he said then crumpled and ripped his notes. "Too bad, you are a weakling."

Renji thought, was he looking at a nerd and not distinguishing his bad boy face? How come they were so stupid? Renji protested. He stood up, looming against the one who ripped his notes. Then the classmate saw the huge difference in their height and stepped back a little. Renji was like a calm tiger that was waiting to devour him whole.

"I...I am sorry," he said. 'Was he this huge and tall?' he gulped his saliva.

He wanted to run away but Renji grabbed his necktie and then lifted him up. His eyes were vibrant with reddish hue.

"Hey, if you want to live again. Give me all your money. They can buy a notebook yes?" Renji said.

"But! You bastard, Who are you in the first place?" He said then grinned. "My family is a rich family. They have gangs that will beat you up! Hahaha!" He laughed.

Renji then sighed. "Okay sure," he up him on the floor but still grabbed him and then pulled him towards the window. The student was dangling outside the window and was screaming.

"You want to say anything before you die?" Renji asked.

"Help! Please let me live!" He shouted.

"Then did you understand? Buy me an effing notebook!!!" Renji shouted.

"Huh?" He was then thrown on the floor inside the room. "It's just a notebook! I can give you notebooks all you want!"

"You messed with the wrong notebook kid. It was my most precious notebook that I used in Kaito University in taking notes in basketball." Renji explained. "That is pouring all 4 years of notes and you just ripped it apart."

"Kaito? You're from Kaito?" He said. 'Wait, was he a player in Kaito Basketball Club? No! It can't be!'

Renji was agitated and wanted to throw the person outside. But it would not be good to put more drama and get the person have broken bones, making him disabled.

"And so, just a cash. I already memorized them all. Your money is the compensation." Renji said and the person was almost was about to cry. He almost thought that he will die.

"I will forgive you this time. But treat me a snack from now on. And let's play basketball!" Renji smiled at him.

He knelt to him and gave him all his cash. Though, he was perplexed by this person. Why was he so bad and so good at the same time. To the point that it was confusing for him.

"By the way, I am Renji." He said, "Xin, I am Xin." The shook hands.

And so, Renji was now the bad boy of the school. And it was officially announced at that. Soon, the school bell rang and the classmates were all still talking about him. In which he ignored. The next subject started and their teacher entered. He immediately looked outside and someone he knew entered the room. It was none other than May.

"Hi everyone! I am May!" She said then waved her curly hair.

"Take a seat on...next on Renji. By the window side." Their teacher said.

"Yes sir!" She said then walked towards Renji.

"Hello mister Renji, can I Sit next to you?" She asked politely.

"No, you are very distracting." Renji said to her.

"Why?" she asked.

"Nevermind." Renji said then pouted. Looking back at the window pane once again. 'Of course you are distracting. You are my crush damn it!'.

"Hmmm? You saying?" She asked.

Renji was shocked, 'Could she read my thoughts? This is bad!'
