Kurayami finally arrived home, panting. The sight of his house in ruins struck him like a dagger.
Walls were collapsed, windows were broken, and thick black smoke was billowing from the rubble.
As the smoke cleared, a demon stood majestically on the debris, illuminated by the cold light of the moon.
Demon (smiling): "Surprise…"
Kurayami, his heart pounding, desperately looked for his sister.
He finally found her, held captive by the demon.
Hana's eyes were blank, her face frozen in an expression of horror.
Kurayami: "HANA!!"
Work turned slowly looked towards his brother, his gaze filled with sadness and despair.
Hana: "I'm sorry…"
Demon: "Shut up!"
Hana: "SAVE YOURSELF!"
In a burst of rage, the demon exploded Hana's head.
Blood spurted onto Kurayami, flooding the ground and debris, as Kurayami's tears mingled with his sister's.
Demon : "Looks like I'll be able to have fun a little longer…"
Kurayami, paralyzed with terror, could neither speak nor move.
The demon, satisfied with his terror, lunged at him with sharp claws.
The demon's punch threw Kurayami against a wall, pain radiated throughout his body and blood flowed copiously from his wounds.
The demon moved slowly, savoring every moment of Kurayami's anguish.
Demon (smiling): "I'm going to have a little fun with you"
He started licking his lips with a sadistic smile. Kurayami struggled to get up despite his injuries, each movement weighing on him like a mountain.
Kurayami: "This will be your last mistake…"
Demon: "Haa finally! I prefer it when my prey is struggling!"
The demon launched a powerful attack, its laughter echoing in the air thick with menace.
Its sharp claws flashed, ready to deliver the killing blow.
But Kurayami, with a speed that surprised even the demon, dodged the attack.
Kurayami: "You missed your chance…"
A purple aura suddenly enveloped Kurayami, the demon looked at him suspiciously.
Kurayami skillfully slipped under the demon's legs, narrowly avoiding the devastating attack.
A dazzling light appeared in front of him, transforming into a katana floating in the air. Kurayami grabbed the katana, confused but determined.
Demon: "You are more tenacious than your sister, I can at least give you that."
Kurayami approached the demon, his gaze blank.
A blast of cold air comes out of his mouth.
Kurayami: "Now that I have nothing to lose, I don't care about dying…"
Fear began to appear on the demon's face, but he remained mocking.
Demon (laughing): "Human egos will always surprise me! But if that's your wish, then… DIE!!"
The demon lunged at Kurayami with the intention of killing him in a single blow.
But Kurayami dodged with lightning speed, slicing the demon's arm before spearing its torso with his katana.
Demon: "HAAA!"
The demon, still standing, try to hit Kurayami with fury.
Demon: "I GO KILL YOU!!!"
Kurayami dodged each attack, moving behind the demon to stab its stomach with his katana.
As he tried to pull the weapon away, the demon, with surprising strength, held the katana inside his stomach and cast a spell.
Demon: "Die!!"
A mini black hole opened, sucking in Kurayami's arm.
Kurayami: "Haaaaa!!"
Demon (laughing): "Finally you still had things to lose!!"
Kurayami: "You are wrong! This arm is worth much less than my sister's life!!"
Kurayami screamed in pain but regained his composure and snatched the demon's katana. The demon raised its hand, propelling Kurayami against a wall.
Demon: "So in that case, get ready to join your sister, darling!"
Kurayami, still determined, launched himself at the demon, slicing its neck.
The demon, reacting quickly, used a black ice spell to block the blow, flinching back from the impact.
The demon then transformed into a huge reptilian creature, and with a powerful swipe of its tail, sent Kurayami flying into the air. A second blow shattered Kurayami's leg, leaving him screaming in pain.
Kurayami, despite the pain, stood up. The demon looked down on him, exasperated.
Demon: "You're starting to piss me off!"
With a devastating swipe of its tail, the demon mit Kurayami KO.
Thinking he had won, the demon was suddenly paralyzed by a murderous aura.
Kurayami, with red eyes and an even darker aura, seemed ready to sacrifice everything.
Kurayami disappeared and reappeared on top of the demon, but before he could strike him, the demon dealt him a blow that completely knocked him out. As the demon approached for the killing blow, a shadow came at full speed, grabbing Kurayami and carrying him to the mountain above the house.
The shadow placed Kurayami on the ground and cast a healing spell.
Shadow: "It's a miracle that a human was able to survive against this demon."
Kurayami came to, his wounds gradually closing. He looked up to see a mysterious figure, hidden under a black and red cloak with a mask.
Kurayami: "Who are you?"
The shadow removed his mask and turned towards him.
Shadow: "You should rather worry about what's left of your house than who I am."
Kurayami: "Yes, you are right…"
Shadow: "Take shelter, I'll take care of the rest."
Kurayami: "NO ! He's mine!"
The demon, furious, jumped onto the mountain, joining the shadow and Kurayami.
Demon: "You're seriously starting to break them!"
The demon rushed towards the shadow, but at the crucial moment, Kurayami, regaining his breath, grabbed his katana, still enveloped in this purple aura, with superhuman speed he cut the demon's tail preventing it from attacking the shadow .
The latter, panicked, backed away.
The shadow, not having had time to see Kurayami move, is stunned by his speed.
Demon: "I really got fooled by this insect, it's not just a simple human, it's impossible!"
The demon cast a powerful spell.
Demon: "Chains of the Abyss!"
Kurayami felt his body being grabbed by chains that wrapped around him, rising from the ground with terrifying force.
He pulled with all his strength, but his limbs refused to respond.
His heart pounded as black flames suddenly erupted around him, devouring his flesh.
The heat was unbearable, but he refused to give in.
Shadow (thought): "He must not die!"
The shadow, with a quick leap, approached to try to free him, but barely had it gotten closer than it instinctively backed away, feeling the power of the flames.
Ombre: "IN!!"
The demon, without wasting a second, launched a new attack with a cruel smile.
Demon: "Blade Storm!"
In a split second, ten swords appeared and pierced the shadow mercilessly.
The metallic sound of blades penetrating his flesh was followed by a muffled scream. Blood gushed from his lips as his body was held in place by the excruciating pain.
Demon (mocking): "There! We finally find the order of things"
Despite the bloody scene, Kurayami, fighting against the pain that inflamed his body, managed to free himself from the chains that immobilized him.
With a desperate leap, he pounced on the demon, his katana in hand, which he thrust into the monster's throat.
The demon roared, its throat invaded by the sharp blade.
Kurayami, his eyes burning with rage, stared into the demon's eyes.
Kurayami: "There it is, the true order of things."
The demon, in a final reflex, sent Kurayami waltzing against the ruins of his house with a simple wave of his hand.
The shock was so violent that Kurayami felt his bones crack under the impact.
He tried to get up, but his body, exhausted and bruised, refused to move.
The demon approached, threatening, before breaking his arm with a sharp blow and slashing his stomach with its sharp claws. The deep cuts let a stream of blood flow onto the ground.
Demon: "You know nothing about order, miserable human! You will die ignorant!"
Kurayami, exhausted, stood up with difficulty, his body trembling with pain, but his eyes no longer reflected fear.
They were empty, cold, like two bottomless wells. The demon, faced with this look, froze for a moment, disturbed by what he saw.
Demon: "But you're going to die, yes!!"
With a howl of pain, Kurayami felt one of the demon's claws pierce his eye.
The pain was so intense that for a moment he thought he would collapse, but despite this, he remained standing, his breathing ragged.
Blood flowed from his face, staining the ground red.
The shadow, still pinned by the swords, watched the scene in horror.
Shadow: "How could this human still stand after all that?"
Pain filled his own body, but a burning thought invaded his mind.
Shadow: "He must not die…"
She grabbed the first sword stuck in her body.
The cold metal penetrated her flesh, but she could wait no longer.
With a cry of pure pain, she tore the sword from her chest, blood immediately spurting out.
The demon, alerted by the growing aura of the shadow, turned its head in its direction, its eyes now filled with a glint of terror.
Demon: "But who the fuck are you in the end!?"
The shadow began to smile, a sinister, cruel smile.
Shadow: "You don't need to know, since you're going to die."
With a lightning leap, she rushed at the demon, and plunged her arm directly into its chest. The shadow's fingers dug deep, seeking to reach the monster's black heart.
Shadow (sarcasm): "Ha Ha Ha! Unfortunately for you, I was always taught to solve problems from within!"
The demon roared in pain, trying to free itself from the shadow's grip, and in a fit of desperation, it struck it violently, sending it tumbling down the mountain below.
Kurayami, still standing despite his injuries, observed the scene with an icy gaze.
The demon, believing he had triumphed, smiled, but before he could react, Kurayami, in a final burst of strength, pounced on him, pushing him into the void with a devastating kick.
The demon fell heavily against the ruins of Kurayami's house, its body bruised and its aura flickering.
The shadow, slowly getting up, then recited an incantation, its hands raised towards the sky.
Shadow: "Star of dawn, light up the darkness! May your light pierce the shadows and burn away injustice! By the power of eternal light, I invoke you: Radiance of the Eternal Dawn!"
A blinding light burst from his hands, illuminating the entire mountain. The demon, feeling the power gap widening, backed away, fear visible on its hideous face.
Demon: "I won't die!!!"
In a last desperate gesture, the demon cast a spell that made him disappear in a cloud of black smoke.
The shadow spell, however, continued its course, crossing the mountain and leaving a huge hole where the demon once stood.
Calm finally fell, but the air was heavy with the smell of death.
On the horizon, blue and red lights were flashing in the night. Police cars, alerted by the chaos, were on their way to Kurayami's house, unaware of the horrors that had just unfolded there.
